Not yet...just a bunch of paperwork right now. Won't know anything till the new year as far as regrouping and promotion opportunities...that's when we become "employees"

I dont know if i can make it on the 15th
Anymore. My second vehicle broke down
And by the looks of it the 15th is going to
Be my only chance to work on the car.

This really sucks, been looking forward to the
    15th for a while now

Also had to take my daughter to the emergency
Room yesturday. Fucking dog bit her on the mouth
Tearing her lip and she had to get six stitches. Man
Im so pissed about it but all i can do now is try and
Make her feel better. My wife was going ape shit at
The ER. My daughter was calm by the time we got there
They almost admitted my wife haha.

But seriously, im just really glad it wasnt any worst of
Injuries to my daughter than what it could have been.

So i really dont know if i will be
Able to make it just yet.

Not at all, we have a german sheperd lab mix. That loves
Playing with her. Even today she is up chasing him around.
If he was there when the other little dog bit her. I think he
Would have killed the little dog.

Man i was about to shoot the dam dog myself. But shes not
Showing any fear to the dog, and thats part of the problem.

    Hello group,
    Check out the thread:

Visiting Ocala this Sat/Sun. Wanna show a Miami guy some trails?

Michael Russell was kind enough to show me a few off roading spots in the Highlands in Ocala.

    Thanks Mike!

Well guys, after much research on a spindle lift vs 885X coils I decided to go with the 885's with the 5100's set at zero. I previously had the 5100's @ 2.5 with the OEM Prerunner coils. I posted those on ebay (if anyone wants them I can let them go for cheap). I've put enough money into this truck & I really didn't feel like spending so much more at the moment.

The ride is noticeably better than before. Not a day & night difference but definitely noticeable. Here are the pics.

    BTW,
The more I see my truck looking so clean the less I want to off-road it. I'm just weird that way.

Long story as short as possible, I brought them in about a year ago I had less than 5000 miles on the truck because they were squeaking just a little bit. I knew there was a a TSB out for the exact issue I was having, and brought that up to the dealer when I was doing my 5000 mile service. They said that there was no problem, they were definitely going to take care of for me, and new exactly what to do. When I initially got the truck back, I told something is wrong with the brakes. They just didn't feel right. The advisor told me some line of BS that they had to seat with the drums. Tell me just drive the truck for little bit and it would go back to normal. As I was pulling off the lot, something inside me told me to push my emergency brake to check the rear brakes that they worked on, and it went straight to the ground with nothing happening. Brought it back right away. They were closing, and kinda gave me a hard time about bringing the truck back. Once he got into the truck, and pushed the emergency brake, it was apparent that he messed something up. They brought it in the back of the shop, and then told me that they just had not adjusted the parking brake properly. I got the truck back, and a brake still didn't feel right, but the emergency brake worked, albeit not that well. Again I told him that the brakes didn't feel right, and he told me that it would be fine, and a double checked everything again.

My fiancé lived about a block away from the dealership, and I slept at her house that night. The next morning, when she went to work, I was driving home. While going down southern boulevard at about 45 miles an hour in rush hour traffic, my rear brakes locked up and sent my truck to a skid in the middle-of-the-road. I called the dealership who did not want to pay to have it towed, so I had to call AAA and have them tow my truck to the dealership. When the touch of driver got there, he pointed out that my rear brakes locked up, and point out the fact that you could not touch the rim because it was so hot. Of course after an hour of waiting for the tow truck, and the half an hour drive back to the dealership, both wheels cool down, and the brakes no longer locked.

I was upset, and they told me that they were going to redo the rear brakes, and turn the drums, and sand the pads, as they had plenty of life left. This would be the second time they turned the drums, and sanded the pads, and I knew that would take a significant amount of wife away from both the drums, as well as the Pads. I called Toyota Corperate and opened a case.

Fast forward to last week, when I actually saw the technical service bulletin stating they should have replaced the drums, pads, and all hardware. Granted, my truck did not fall into the specified range, but they should have opened a Toyota case, and done it anyway like they have in the past. That's how the TSB gets updated. I called Toyota corporate backs, and told them that I had surface rust on my drums, and I believe it was given the intense heat cause when Toyota messed up my rear brakes, leaving me stranded.

Needless to say, I got a call from the service manager at the dealership who is apologizing, and replacing everything at no cost. I'm actually waiting on my truck to be pulled around front, because they're ordering all the stuff that will be here at 9 AM tomorrow. YAY!!!
