    I'm getting there! Haha

    Going good so far.

    I got the amber xb's.
    Hopefully pics tomorrow haha
I should be done by tomorrow afternoon :p
    Good idea! Haha

Fine! Here is y'alls update! Haha

So far I've test fitted everything, figured out how I'm going to set up the halos, and painted the headlights, shrouds, and cutoff shield.

Letting the paint dry near my heater vent and will start working on putting everything together tomorrow after I finish re-doing the blinker mod on my new corner lights. No chrome! :D

Here's everything I got, except the butyl tape isn't in the picture.

    New headlights

    Crap I had to remove....

Ready to go under the knife, literally. I used a heat gun, the file on my fingernail clippers, and a butter knife to get them apart haha took apart an hour for each one.

Took a bunch of pics of the projector so I could put it all back together once the cutoff shields dry.

Here's the painted stuff. It's actually a darker flat black in person....

The holes I drilled so I can tie fishing line around the halo's. Going to put dabs of sealant around the back of them as well just in case the fishing line melts.

I spent about 3 hours messing with the fitness of the projectors because I couldn't get it to sit flush with the shrouds. Then I looked at other's pic of their's and it was the same way

I'm not using the shroud-centric rings because it pushed the shrouds too far from the projector imo...

Awesome. What paint did you use? And did you prime? I think I'm going to take mine apart and try to fix my driver side actuator that's stuck. And I might paint the shield red and maybe the housing satin black. Not sure about the shrouds though.

I used VHT flameproof flat black paint
    [IMG]

I sanded it all just to give everything a little bit of surface and then used this to prime it
    [IMG]

I think the black would look good with the demon eyes. I set my shrouds in my headlights and it instantly put a smile on my face because of how good it looks :D

Haha I know that look all too well. So it was only 4 screws to get the shield off? Did you take the actuator off too?

Haha I think this is the slowest I've ever done something. So I just thought about this, but if I wait until tomorrow I won't be able to aim the lights until tomorrow night... Haha

Looking good! Plan on doing the retros myself. What are you doing with your old headlights? If you want to get rid of them I'll gladly take them off your hands.

I'm not sure what I'm doing with them yet. But once I get the retrofit complete I'll definitely let you know!
Running them on the outside. Thanks!
It's a work in progress! Haha
Me either! Just woke up because I'm trying to get prepared for midnight shifts...
Hmm, I don't know if the demon eyes would look good on your truck :notsure:
I'll try and make a write-up, but it's more or less that you have to kind of just learn as you go because everybody's won't be exactly the same...
