That doesn't teach anyone anything.. Make him do the work. Hands on work is the best way to learn. If it takes a bit longer who cares, have another beer while he gets down and dirty.

Exactly! Growing up if I wanted something fixed my dad would hand me tools and point me in the right direction. He never fixed anything for me and growing up I hated this. Now I'm very thankful as I can pretty much rip anything apart and fix it now. Payed off in the long run. Learning how to fix things on your own saves you a grip of cash in life.

That's what I did when josh installed his ucas. Told him what to do as he did it and explained why he was doing it that way. Now he can do things on his own and did a good job wi th hos leaves last week.

My dad did the same thing and vince and Serena at sdhq dId as well when I used to work on the race bug over there.

IMO Tacoma rubbers will hit the traction friction limitations before you reach the stock rubber hoses efficiency (unless they have aged) of line pressure to caliper.

i.e. my E46 M3 ZCP with Bridgestone RE01R's 285 fronts and 305 rears on stock braking system stopped 4-6 feet (100-0) (Rotor temp approx.~150deg F measure with IR pyrometer) comparatively to installing stoptech brake lines at all four corners with the same test conditions.

My 08 4Runner had stoptech's installed as well and it would engage ABS alot sooner and no longer had a progressive pedal feel to it anymore. The braking progression was too sharp. I removed them and put stock hoses back in before trading it in.

LOL, we dont care about you. You know what you are doing;)

I can see that, I was saying it as a general idea

I learned how to work with wood, metal, weld, repair and diag vehicles by watching people those being my Dad, Grandfather, Uncle, my friend/coworker Dave, and friend/coworker Troy, youtube, and DIY network. I then perfected my techniques as time progressed. Watching people that know what they are doing helps minimizing mishaps or unnecessary processes. People learn in different ways but I was always raised to watch, study, learn, then attack.

In Jaime's case it took him and Juan over 4 hours to do upper arms. I think he could use some watching and learning by people that have done this more the he for future reference. If that is not what Jaime wants I have no problem grabbin a beer and being privy to the peanut gallery.

I don't see anyone ganging up on him. I do think the general consensus is that working on your truck/car/house/etc is a good thing to have in your tool belt when you get older.

It happens everytime haha last time with the lift it was the guy on facbook that made awards saying you shouldnt mod a vehicle if you live in an apartment or dont know what you are doing haha. Honestly it doesnt matter to me what happens I will gladly get dirty I just have never done something like this so its a learning curve I like to watch and learn and do and learn whatever works best for the teacher :) we are all friends here

question for you guys, isnt it a violation of our constitution for our work to tell us that we are not allowed to say merry christmas or have christmas decorations?

i believe in santa clause and christmas, other people believe in whatever religion they want to that they dont celebrate christmas.
freedom of speech? freedom of religion?

I look at it in 2 ways.

    1. You have freedom of speech and should be able to say Merry Xmas, Happy Holidays, or whatever fits your style.

    2. Your company does pay you.

You just tell me what you want me to do sugartits and we will make it happen, you know daddys got you.
Of your constitution yes, however that area is private property and they are allowed to do what they will with the premises as they see fit. If they do not want decorations they are allowed to disallow it. However, I do believe they are pushing it with your 1st amendment rights. Best thing I have seen yet to fight this 'bullshit' fight is no matter what people say just reply with "Thank you, you too" I could GAF who says what to me as long as its endearing.
