Thought the final product was where it started?

 

You had to pay for something you needed for a project? Or it was your choice to use it for yhe project?

literally isnt anything you can do for a seizure though, besides try and make sure they dont choke themselves

 

wrong. my lady has epilepsy (oddly not caused by flashy lights) and everytime she's had a seizure i've had to make sure she's still breathing, if she does stop breathing that she starts again, make sure she isnt around anything that could hurt her, make sure she is fully concious because there were times where she seemed concious and normal and then "woke up"

 

Or bang their heads.. You still dont just leave them laying on the floor and continue to teach class..

 

I mean as far as neurons misfiring in the brain, there isnt much you can do- in terms of "stopping" the seizure
it's more on making sure they don't hurt themselves in the process, which kinda sucks.

true and i learned that the hardway. the "making sure they dont hurt themselves" part is sometimes more difficult than it sounds too.

 

I should clarify a bit. The class handled it really well. It was silent and then suddenly we heard a loud moan-like noise and then whipped backward and slammed her head against the desk behind her and her eyes rolled back. The girl whose desk she slammed into pretty much leaped up and grabbed her (and another girl too), from the desk and put her on the floor. She said she used to be a lifeguard or something. And did the usual of trying not to hurt herself and kept her on her side just in case of vomiting.

One girl yelled to call 911 and about 20 people whipped out phones so I yelled for only one person to call and somebody said they'd do it. It didn't last long, about 2 minutes, and she came right back to and felt fine. Answered questions perfectly and wanted to get up, but we kept her lying on her side.

The teacher did tell the last group to present next time but one of them was going to be absent thursday. So we asked the girl if it was ok to continue and she said yeah. So continued on until the paramedics came and they eventually took her out. There were people taking care of her the entire time.

She said she had no history of seizures either. Said she got really hot suddenly and then it happened.

These group projects are killing me. So much homework to do it's not even funny. I'm skipping work tomorrow and maybe even Thursday.
