    My new setup

    -Wheels are gunmetal level 8 MK6 17x8 0 offset
-tires are Hankook dynapro atm 265/70/17

Really happy with the look, though I wonder how slightly taller 255/75/17 would have looked.

Pat yourself on the back. You won't be sacrificing ride quality or mpg with this set up. Proportionally, this is the same size tire found on the oem off road wheels. Only you're a 17" wheel.

Looking to do a similar setup, looks good. Do you think a 285/70/17 would have fit or no?

I believe so yes, but I would do some searching first.

You'll most likely have to remove the mudflaps,
Also depends on your wheel offset . Keep in mind certain tire brands run alittle larger then others .

But they should fit , do some more research to make sure don't just take my word

No, it's not. The 17" stock size is 265/65R17 and they are the same overall diameter as the Off Road 265/70R16 tires. 265/70R17 is 1" taller than stock sized tires.

TRD I notice you say with your mild lift?? would they fit with no lift at all?? My truck is stock, with no plans to lift at all and I am torn between the 255/70 or the 265/70 but I do not want ANY rub at all... My last truck I went the largest that would fit (I thought) and they rubbed at full lock.... don't want that on this one but want to fill at the wells... Thanks

My 265/70-17 rub in reverse at full lock, slightly. I have billies at 1.75" in the front and the TSB rear.
