The 2014 4runner looks badass, interior is wicked nice. Though it somewhat resembles a tank in exterior styling.

Wouldn't be a bad thing if that's what the 2015 taco looked like.

Historically Tacoma has NEVER looked like the 4Runner  I have to say the new 4Runner looks much better in person, love the interior and headlights.

They had a good resemblance for the 80's models and the 2nd gen 4Runners also had more resemblance to Tacomas. 3rd gen 4Runners seem to be when Toyota started to differentiate between the two models more.

Damn straight on 4Runners looking better in person. Wasn't too sure how much I liked the new front ends for 2014 models, but damn did the two 14' Trail Editions sitting at the local dealer look sexy. It truly is a majestic beast.

And I really like the 5th gen interiors. Suped up gauges on the TE's all the much better. That is the only thing I hate on my mom's 13' SR5. Those orange on black gauges are not kind to the eyes during the day. Nor is the stock stereo display. Everything else says "robust".

    No.

Nobody knows anything other than the pure speculation that has been parrotted by e-zines for the last 24+ months... the redesign year has already slipped by a year at least once.

Maybe it's just me but part of the Tacoma's appeal is the fact that is hasn't been redesigned to death.

i'm not too fond of the 2014 4runner the headlights and front end are kind of goofy IMO, i like the look of the 2014 tacoma and in a re-design i would like to see mechanical updates not body style changes, (rear disc brakes would be a great improvement), maybe a bumper that is a little bit more rugged looking but that's about it for the body.

:(Want it a little bigger? Get a Tundra!!! I wish Toyota would size it back down to the size of the first gens. If I wanted a T-100, I would have bought one, which is what the Tacoma is now....a mid-size. Why would they feel the need to compete with those rolling-turd units being produced by GM?? If those pics posted previously are the new Tacoma, I will continue taking great care of my first gen, In hopes that I'll never need one. The 2001-2004 models had such beautiful lines. Just my .02.

I just bought a 2014 and really like the looks -- the one thing that would make me step up to a redesign is a V8

If only they offered that, why I still have a sweet spot for the dakota double cab

If the new Colorado junk sells well maybe it will force the Tacoma into a redesign. With lack of competition the Tacoma will be like the Ranger was. The same thing for 22 years until it fades away from lack of interest.
