Where do you have your installed/mounted? and how much did you spend?

i found it for $169 on there website. thanks for any help or advice. For people who tow alot...has this helped in finding the optimal speed/RPM for towing long distances?

3" Toytec, 285/70/16. Installing, sliders, cb, firestik antenna, Workin for 285's, BedBox, and undercover winch when weather gets warm.
I have mine with some hard side vel-crow stuck to the headliner the upper left as your sitting in the seat. Then ran the wire down the A pillers weather stripping and to the OBD2 port. Looks hard wired but when your friend cant figure his car out its only a yank of a wire and its all out.

^ Hey, that looks like mine! Exactly where I have mine mounted. And after alarm/remote start and in-dash GPS installs the 3 minutes it took to install the ScanGauge last weekend was very welcome.

Indeed, I was almost heading to the door to check when I noticed that 2 of the readouts were on different paramaters than I have displayed. He even used only one of the 2 velcro mounting tapes in the middle, just like me. =:0

Try checking JC Whitney, I just got mine from them for $143 shipped!

Add it to the cart and use "PlusTen" to get the 10% coupon, It worked last week for me. I got it from auart on here in another scanguage thread.

Are there supposed to be some new codes soon for ATF temp and other gauges? Add-a-gauge?

I mounted mine over the mirror. This is a Gentex mirror with compass & homelink.

    Both were an esy install.

    Good Luck....

I hounded & hounded them about that even before I bought the Scangauge. They kept telling me..."It's coming, it's coming, we're working on it"

After a year or longer of waiting - they told me they're having trouble getting information from Toyota to access the information.

I seriously think they stopped trying.... so I doubt it'll ever happen.

I stopped calling & trying to push the issue...it's been over 2 years.

Scanguage II has been out so long now, that I am afraid Scanguage III would come out the day after I buy mine. I'm waiting some more.

Are they even talking about a Scangauge III? Hmm...I might have to call them again and pester them about it. I wonder what's new about it? Software? And if so, will they upgrade the Scangauge II's.

I think I remember the Scangauge I owners (or something like that) could send their units in and get upgrades done to make them Scangauge II's for like $25 I think.... that was a long time ago though.

Got mine last week from 3n1 and mounted it on the same place. Great place to have it. I'm glad I got one and I just put in the code to readout horsepower.

Scangauge 2 is upgradeable if any more codes become available. ATF temp is a big one, I am little upset that Toyota did not add ATF gauge or battery volt gauge to the dash. Must have been to much work I guess.
