-11 here in Colorado Springs. Had a block heater in AK, but never really needed one here. This is the coldest cold spell we've witnessed here in 6 years.

-40C/F or so, but plugged in, I don't take any chances in those temps.

We had -14F here last week and truck started fine..

Sorry just a quick question and not trying to jack the thread but has anyone noticed any noises coming from the suspension when its really cold out? Last week I noticed some clunking in the front end over cracks/bumps in the road and a rubbing/popping/grinding noise when turning either direction (CV Joints came to mind and there was not ice or snow built up on the wheel wells/ suspension/ control arms/ ect) but once it warmed up outside its all quiet again.. just a bit mind boggling..

My Tacoma was a southern truck growing up, lol but I since moved it to the mid-atlantic so the temps are a bit frostier during the winter. The coldest has probably been in the high single digits, low teens so far & never had a problem cranking her. I guess I owe that to the everstart battery under the hood which is just a bit over 3 yrs old, we'll see how much longer it lasts, lol.

My girlfriend and I were in my truck when I told her I was breaking up with her to date her best friend. When she got out and split I could tell it was cold but I could not see the actual temperature reading because of the bleeding and swelling from when she smashed me in the face with her smartphone, but the Tacoma never missed a beat and started right up.

I didn't see 67* as one of the options...

One of the downfalls of living on the central coast of Florida...

Factory block heater but often too remote for plugs.

Occasionally I follow the "diesel guys" lead and just leave it running overnight... company fuel card dependent.

Few of the boys use auto-starters and set them for every hour or so... I can't come to grips with leaving the trans in N... setting the e-brake could strand you for a long time! :D
