    now that i look at more of those broken locker pics it doesnt look like the locker gave up it looks like the carrier did.. good old D44.. gonna have to go with a full locker to fix that issue..

    The locker blew up... Ruined the carrier... ruined the ring gear and pinion.

    I am getting a new carrier with spider gears and welding them. Gotta buy a new ring gear too .

    Not to mention new tires, new rims, new bead locks, hub locks, driveshaft flange, matching rear 60... believe me it's more than just 2k... Perhaps its not 6k. But I also have so much work that needs to be done to the truck, the 6+ months of downtime won't be worth it :(

    On another note... I sold my leaf springs for a highly improved design far more capable than any desert race rig could ever imagine.

    this is why im going 60's with this build right off the bat.. i had a truck with built toy axles and thats around the same as a 44 so yeah MORE...

    stock width??? As tall as you wanna go??? i should slap you.. go 14B width and get the right rims that way you can adjust with different rims.. ill probably end up with 5" of back spacing for my DD tires and 3" of back spacing for my wheeling tires..
