tires rub

    ok so im new to this site and im also new to 4x4 so you'll prob hear a lot of dumb qustions from me so try not laugh to hard so hear is my first question i have an 07 tacoma trd off road pkg with a six speed manual and i just got a 6" fabtech lift on some 16" wheels and the tires are LT315/75R16 pro comp all terain and my wheel rubs on the front lower bumber and the bottom lower fender and it olso rubs alot on this metal bracket off the frame i was just wondering if anyone else has this problem and if they do what did they do to fix it oh and it only rubs when i turn to sharp please help any info will be good thanks

    there are plenty of people with rubbing issues you might want to use the search feature to located the numerous threads about tire issues.

    i had to use wheel spacers to fix my rubbing

    Oh Yeah!!!
    I had rubbing with 285/75/16's with a ready lift up front. Im pretty sure those 315's are wide as hell

    Start removing as much pastic as you can. And if all fails your are looking at modifying or going to narrower wheel.

    wait a second did you say you have 315/75r16's... i believe these aren't true 35's since i used to have some. if you want less rub then start cutting until you get no rub. it might take awhile though.

    3” spacer lift, 285/75/17 KO2, Spidertrax 1.25” spacers
    I believe with the Fabtech 6" lift you have to cut and weld the frame body mounts.

    thats exactly where it rubs but i dont want to cut them and move them thats to much work for me
