    Ah, I see.
I've had similar experiences with ex-friends. I no longer loan money to buddies like I used to. Got screwed too many times, and lost the friends whether I managed to collect or not. The only one I'll still loan $$ to is like a brother to me.

If I get some volunteers haha

That's what this guy was..13 yrs later. I've got a similar policy with money with almost everyone, never lend money I wouldn't give.

Problem with the "drag him out of the car and beat his ass" policy is that there's always the potential that he's carrying.

And Gerber < Glock in that scenario.
Or in my case, Smith & Wesson :D

I loved my Gerber knife (I got mine in a TW gift exchange a couple years ago) until I picked up a Kershaw. Thing is stupid sharp and pretty durable.

Love my Kershaw. I lost one... found it months later in the bilge on the boat full of saltwater and mud. Took it apart cleaned the mud out and the rest was fine. I couldn't believe all the parts are corrosion resistant. Even the washers on the inside are all brass. Quality products for sure.

I got a spiderco sharp maker. Anyone can get a blade to shave their arm hair off in minutes.

I've got a Buck folder that's the same way. It takes forever to sharpen up, but once you get it sharp it stays sharp for weeks.

This is the one I have, it's the Kershaw Blue with the Tanto tip:

Absolutely love it! I bought it on Ebay as a blem, the blemish being it had 4 x's on the blade instead of 3 so they knocked off over 30%.

Heh, we've effectively turned "N.E. BS" into "Show Me Your Knives!"

Well well, look who is back after a long time away. Had some really tough metal problems so needed to figure stuff out and took time for myself to get better but I'm back!!!! And as Chris said the truck has to go. I know I just got it but having a loan isn't helping me at all. Gonna need surgery soon and need all the money I can get. So I have to sell it and wanna buy something super cheap and learn to fix it. Priorities in my health are first so gotta do what I gotta do.

Anyone miss me lol? And by the way, this will be my 8 car/truck in my lifetime and in only 25 haha. So flame on haha.

By the time I was 25 I had driven 14 vehicles. That's not including ones I owned and never registered.

Haha. There will be no whooping of my ass. Unless it's a girl:D. But anyways I won't go anywhere. I'll still come in even though I won't have a Toyota. You guys are a nice group of people and are all friends here :)

That's a lot of damn cars dude. I though I was a lot at 7 lol.

4 in one year to start off with, how you like that :) For the record, only one car I've owned was totalled, my 84 Camaro..which I ended up fixing.

4 in one year haha. That's crazy lol. I'm usually one every 1 to 2 years. Sucks that you totaled but good for you for fixing it. Most people would have scraped it

The Tacoma is my 8th vehicle. It's the longest I've owned any one vehicle. Almost made it 9 last year if I had gotten that 4Runner.

Tacoma is my 5th not counting bikes and also the longest I've owned a vehicle. I used to swap every couple years but had a few life changing events in the last few years that prevented that from happening...

I like changing every 2 years. At least for me I like it. So then I don't get bored and can have something new to me lol. Just like how I get tires 24/7 haha

Most of my cars I had less than a year..primarily that they were 8-10 yrs old. The longest was my Chevy truck right before this, 5.5 years. I was hoping to get 10 yrs from that and that's my goal with this one. There was a time when people I didn't see very often would remark that every time I see them I have another car.

I've had 15 total; 12 of them were by the time I was 24 (when I bought my first house and needed the down payment I had to sell off two of the three vehicles I had at the time). The most I've ever had at once was three.
The longest was the '96 cherokee, which I had for 5 years. The shortest was the '99 Frontier, which I had for roughly 3 months.

    In chronological order;

    1989 Dodge Aries K
    1987 Nissan Hardbody 2wd
    1973 Mercedes 280
    1989 Saab 900
    1994 Jeep Cherokee 4x4
    1994 Nissan Hardbody 4x4
    1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4
    1996 Honda Civic
    1996 Jeep Cherokee 4x4
    1996 Nissan Hardbody 4x4
    2000 Honda Civic
1996 Ford Ranger 4x4 (worst truck ever)
    1999 Nissan Frontier 4x4
    1999 Toyota Tacoma 4x4
    2010 Toyota Tacoma 4x4

Also, this list doesn't include bikes, of which I've had 3
    1995 Ninja 250
    2004 Ninja 250
    2005 Suzuki Boulevard M50
