It's not going to be shiny right? I'd imagined that would be a pain in the ass especially on desert trips.

Shiny like your head or glare from the sun? I'll find out when I get to that point. May have to make a hood :)

Hey can you post whatever specs you have on the Spacers that allow the TCs to work with the Maxtracs?

Sure can! I'll even give you all the dimensions I measured.
Maxtrac Spindle double shear gap- 1.180 inches (30mm)
Total Chaos spindle adapter plate - .500 inches (12.80mm)

That leaves you with needing about .680 inches (17.2mm) of gap to fill. I used washers and some stainless steel shims to fill the gap. I will probably have a machine shop make me some solid ones here in the next few weeks for no other reason than it will look better.

One other thing to point out is that the shims for the TC arms need to go on top of the spindle adapter plate. In my pictures you will see they are underneath...that doesn't work because the lower rear double shear on the spindle hits the LCA at full lock steering. Of course I did not notice this until I went out driving and tried to make a uturn.
The reason I put it on the bottom to begin with was because I followed what Anthony250 did from the midtravel BS thread but his LCA's are from engage OR and their spindle adapter plates are different.
Lesson learned-cycle everything and look closely before you button things up for a test drive!

I am thinking about it . Only thing holding me back is I have a few items planned for my truck in January and can't say for sure that it will be ready for the trip. I'll be a last minute sign up.
Sorry to hear about your brake operators finger...hopefully he'll be back and working soon.
