On another note. The Duramax is a fantastic motor. Best diesel in any consumer pickup.
May as well buy a chevy, get some of your tax money back that obama is giving them so they can heat their factories by using bulldozers to plow cash into a giant furnace.

GM is about as anti-american as you can get.

This thread cracked me up, especially the guy creating an account on the Duramax site. Who has ever heard of buying a Chevy because they had too many problems with their Toyota? Working in auto parts, I can say first hand that GM products keep us in business. Anyway, I had a 2000 Tacoma that I traded for an almost new Dodge about 6 years ago. My friends and coworkers gave me grief for trading a Toyota in for a Dodge, but I defended it, because I liked it. It was my first and last domestic product. I took extremely good care of it, and the engine died at 96,000 miles. I lost my ass on that POS, I still owed $7,000 and ended up selling it for $1500. Now I'm back in a Tacoma, after a brief stint with a VW (not bad, but didn't have it long enough for anything to fail), and I'll never stray again. Toyota and Honda have me for life!
