So I have picked up on a hint that I might be getting sliders for Christmas... I was asked if I wanted bolt onor welded... I remember asking for them so iI asked if they were talking about sliders, response... If . Can aff ord them:) if I get sliders all I'd need is a bumper and I'd be set... Except new tires and skids and rear bumper and snorkel. But that stuff will not wait till after the baby:)

So after fighting and bitchin and cussin I got my new clear headlights in. I wised up after about an hour of contemplating it. Got my air compressor out with a cutting tool and just cut the bottom bolt bracket off my headlights. Much easier than having to get inside my wheel wells and fight with that stubborn 4th bolt. All in all I like the clear front end look. Much cleaner and better look.

    Here is the final product.

Sorry for being so late in this. I tried but I just can't get up there for the trip tomorrow. I have way too many things I need to get done around the house with Christmas just around the corner. Sorry guys! I was really looking forward to this!

It's on Crenshaw road in Chelsea, a dirt road that floods easily if we have a long period of rain or storms. Like Alex said, it's a flooded out bridge. The water was about 20-30 feet out of its bank. Where the bridge is, it's about 5-6 feet deep under the bridge. Water was up to the bottom of the truck. Muffler was under water.

What's up guys. Just now getting back on the site. Unfortunately I wrecked my truck over on Altadena road in Birmingham last week and it's actually out in Chelsea right now sitting in the 280 Paint and Body lot waiting for insurance stuff to go through haha. That's the body shop right at the intersection of 280 and county road 41 for those of you who are familiar with the area

WELCOME!!! nice to see you took the invite:D
ya 280 paint and body does okay work, may cut corners. so make sure you look everything over before you leave the parking lot because they screwed my wifes frontier up when she hit a deer and they were hell to get them to fix it. the fender flare didn't line up because they thought they would get away with using the old cracked one and didn't put the pin stripping she had on it back on straight. but hopefully they have changed. pics?

Haha it was pretty damn stupid. When it was raining last week I was hauling ass to a dentist appointment and looked down for two seconds and before I knew it I was off the road.. Haha I'm pissed at myself for that. But my parents have been going there for about 15 years and I went there after a Shelby county bus ran into my truck when it was parked haha and luckily haven't had any problems with them. yse9a9u9_eaebb15b15e93470b6f98fc67a444d77184842a6.jpg
