I'm trying to find out how to remove the clear lens from the side mirrors. Looks like I'm going to need to remove the glass and or the painted mirror cover. Anyone done this or know what it's going to take. I've searched and no luck. Found some talk on adding signals but nothing about how to actually remove the lense for a 2013. Anyone?

Just pop of the back painted cover and you will have access to the lens .

Yes when I bought my mirrors I had to buy the covers separate and they just snap in.

Take the mirror off (mirror itself) and pop off the clips that hold the colored matched cover
Then it's 2 Phillips head screws holding the turn signal lenses...

Why do you want to take them off?

That's what I thought. I saw somewhere someone saying that you have to push some clips to release the mirror then pull mirror down to remove. I looked in between the small gap between the glass and the housing itself but I couldn't see anything. Getting them tinted. If there isn't a led bulb in there already I will be getting some for sure.

Those are LEDs in there. Can't be opened nor replaced.

Well...still no luck. I can't for the life of me figure out where the clips are that hold the mirror glass in? Any suggestions/tips?

You need to pop off the glass first. Pull gently and I mean gently on the bottom first. Than you can easily remove the glass.

This pic shows how the glass is held in place. Red circle indicates the tabs where the cover locks in place.

You need to pop off the glass first and then gently pry the tabs that lock the cover in behind the glass. After that you have two small philips screws to remove and unplug the the lens with the light
