thats sick but 150$ damn hids are only like 50 to 60 at most

 

Hell yeah. Im really hyped to get them on the truck. Along with the other pile of parts waiting to go on.

 

Okay, so I'm trying to get a winch for christmas. Either a warn or smittybilt. I know the smitty's lock up, but I'd silicone it up try to prevent that from the start. Who else has a CBI front bumper here?

Any good sources for info on installs? Did a quick search and couldn't find anything.

 

Thought that too but, I spent like $130 on a low/high beam kit. But these are LED!!!!

 

Not just that but they would stick too far out on the passenger side in the engine bay. I don't think it would clear the windshield washer tank.

 

holly crap 130 in lo high kit!! thats crazy the only thing I like is the lifetime warranty seems like every couple of years I need to buy a new ballast or a bulb for my hids. I have like 3 sets laying around now lol gotta be prepared. so it would be nice not having to mess with that.

 

Pretty simple really. Bolt it down and connect + & - to the battery. I would use a power interrupt kit to turn it on and off. I would get a deep cycle battery if you don't have one already.

I'm with you have like 3 sets of HID bulbs in the garage including a set of 9003 hi/low hid's with the stepper that moves the bulb for the high beams. Plus ordered another set for the Fj for some reason. Don't ask me why

did a quick google search and found a set for 49$ might have to put them in the bike to see how good they work.

 

I don't have a filler tube there. I have the big ass tank right there.

Yeah that bulb will rule out a dual battery tray set up on the tacos. Holy fucking buoy base batman. Interesting that they are stating as good as HID though. Definitely want to see them in your FJ.

 

I know Marlin sells there own Birfields. I bought some from them back in 2006. I'm not sure how they compare to Longfields. They only have a 2 year warrenty.

 

I got the Cover King poly (wetsuit) they fit the seats really will and have held up pretty well. Only been on for 4-5 months though. If you have a Costco membership you can get a pretty great deal.
