    Lol that makes me feel better. I tried both ways but under was the only way it worked. Had to bend the mount a little though but that was easy.

    That's wierd. It worked both ways for me, but when I put it under you couldn't close the tailgate without pulling the handle. Mounting it on top allowed me to shut the tailgate normally.

    Yeah you can put them under the latch be I found it messed with the way the tailgate closed.
