    must be nice :(. 10 miles from my house, 9.5 miles south of the house I am going to check out around noon that day, and 17 miles south of my boys car that I am going to do the rad, flex disc, and trans mount on after that.     Not me. Wasn't a fan of the first Hobbit much.

    It bothers me that they take LOTR, which are very long books, and make them 1 movie each when they could of been 2 movies for each book.

    Then they take the Hobbit, which is a very short book, add a bunch of shit that wasn't in the book to make it 3 movies.

    LOTR lost me after the second one, however the melding of Silmarillion with the hobbit does make sense and I was vastly astonished with the approach they took with the hobit.

    Not Quite. Going via the Book, The Sil took place WAY before the Hobbit. With the Original rise of Men and the war against the elves among another 8-10 stories. They need to go back way further than what is being touched in the hobbit.

    What would be cool is a good Graphic mini series on like HBO or something.
