starter noise

Hi all! Been awhile since I posted on here. Quick recap, bought a new 2011white off road dc in 2011, internal oil pump was bad with 300 miles on truck. Dealer got me a new identical truck (great). Couple months ago I noticed rust looking spots on my truck (which I keep spotless). Toyota rep looked at it and said repaint three doors and hood. Which goes on car fax. Only 26000 on truck. told him I am trading for 2014 sport dc in black. Picked up truck today and the starter is making a dragging noise turning on and off! Hope its the starter! WTF Any way I was back an talked to salesman, said bring it in on monday. Just pissed! By the way, check your white paint close. I had circles three inchs around. Seems white was a problem with toyota, Really liked my white too. Thanks for listening.

 

You sir seem to have bad luck! Sounds like you get new trucks often tho which is a plus I suppose.

Hey, I would think it may be the starter also, usually if it's the battery it will click or won't do anything, hope they get it took care of quickly.
