I just went on there and they don't have them listed under that size, they're probably out of stock haha. No big, I don't even have the truck as of yet, still driving a drift car as a daily. -____-

    Thanks for the recommendation though!

Lol I do but it's not fun in crowded roads with a possibility to hurt someone else or bang up their car. If I bang my car up or hurt myself that's another story. I don't get sued.

    True. True.

I've gone around a couple corners and felt like I was at the very start of a four wheel drift.

The duratracs kick ass in the snow I had a hard time getting sideways in 4 wd but in 2 wd slipping and sliding was easy but still took trying to.We were on icy road and up to 2 ft of snow the only time I had any problems was try to start from a stop on a hill in deep snow. Other then that I had fun in the deep stuff . I was going 25 mph with full control on ice and in the deep stuff. Tire tires tires they make or break any car or truck. Also I was running no weight in back except my snug-top cover and recovery gear. Also air down the tires makes a huge difference in the deep stuff.

k&n air filter, BFG'S, four wheel pop up camper, firestone air bags.
I've lived in Mammoth Lakes CA. We get plenty of snow in this ski resort town. Every taco makes it up to the lodge on the worst days! i have extra weight in the back from my camper and hardly have to put it in 4 wheel on a foot of snow or less. Best mountaineers truck! preferred truck in our conditions by locals!

I think you are missing the most important fact, front diff is always engaged and spinning since we don't have manual hubs. Driver side cv powers front diff even in 2wd, so if it was not made to go over 60 mph it would brake even in 2wd.

Drifting is easy with manual and an LSD in the rear, just clutch kick ;) these are the tires I just swapped on my 85 cressida ImageUploadedByTapatalk1386908371.611499.jpg

Nope. Aligned so I can fit the tires under the fenders with a mild tire stretch ImageUploadedByTapatalk1386908825.451774.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1386908840.001071.jpg

Hankook dynapros AT/M did well in the snow, as did the LSD.. I was trying to fishtail and whatnot but it corrected me perfectly. The patches of ice get the rookie snow drivers and make the ABS lock up! Maybe my error for going a little to fast but it might be true the ABS is too sensitive? Here's my video

It looked like you were going too fast to me, the ABS might be to sensitive but I don't think you were making that stop even without it's interference.

Once you click play was when I started braking.. I should have made it longer but yeah I know first hand now that I need a greater stopping distance than usual.

Other than that It was a fun experience

I'm in NTX too and we had a nice 3" of ice at my house. I put it in 4wd, put my six buckets of sand in the bed, and went everywhere I wanted to go. I spend a fair amount of time in CO in the winter driving lots of 4wd/AWD rental cars. I don't see snow as a challenge; ice is the great equalizer, especially for stopping.

I did go out and find a large patch of ice and run through quite a few of the 9 traction options on my TRD OR just to see what I thought. I saw in one of the earlier posts someone from Canada suggested turning TRAC all they way off. Doesn't that leave the rear diff in an Open position? One wheel spinning? I don't like that plan. I do turn the VSC off some times to get the Auto LSD option.

Any AT tire with the mountain/snowflake symbol will be a good all around tire. The best non-AT tire I've used is the michelin ms2, a little slip in 2wd but it's worked for me now for 5 years in new england winters with no problems.
