Come to Iowa. There's one for $1500 all pimped out but needs the engine swap. A gy6 150cc swap is $500 or less.

But in all reality check Craigslist. They pop up with like 1500 miles all the time.

We can buy you one and I'll get it part of the way to Texas for you next week haha. But honestly your local CL will probably have more selection than up here.

I'm sorry dude but a Vrod is WAY faster and more powerful than any 250. I'm assuming ninja or cbr? My first bike was a 99 Sportster 1200 and it was leaps and bounds faster than my wifes ninja 250. and a Vrod will straight up smoke my old sportster. FACT. I think ur butt dyno needs recalibration. lol

Well it's not as fast as something like a Jap liter bike with over 150 hp... but it should still nearly lift the front wheel off the ground at WOT. IIRC the original ones had like 115hp and 80ish ft/lb torque. The newer ones had over 120hp and 86 ft/lb. That thing will pull more power at 3k rpm than a 250 at redline lol

Off to work for the last time for the year, feeling good about the next few days.
And the company i bought my gun through has been really helpful with getting the FFL situation straightened out.

Ok just did some quick math... The V-Rod makes 125 HP and weighs 677 lbs, so it makes 0.18 HP per pound. My ninja 250 makes 35 HP and weighs 300lbs, so it makes 0.11 HP per pound. So yes, the Vrod should be faster, but not as much faster than you'd think. The afforementioned ZX14 makes 0.35 HP per pound

I don't care what car you buy for $1500, it's going to be a piece of junk.
