I would like to hear some experiences about any tacoma mods, what type of lift kit have used, wheel spacers etc. How you drive your tacoma after the mod. I drive a 09 DCSB tacoma with LT285/70/R17 with level kit using bilstein 5100 at 2.5" with 1.25" GS wheel spacers, I like how my truck looks, but I have an issue with ABS/VSC, but I know how to fix it now, but I have heard different opinions good and bad, mostly bad with using wheel spacers and bilstein shocks. some people say is unsafe drive a truck using wheel spacer, and others bilstein 5100 get a lot stress in joint ball and issues like that. I would like to know your point of view and experience !!

The problem that I experienced with the 5100's at 2.5" is the UCAs being non adjustable. Makes your caster out of whack. New adjustable UCAs fix that. I ended up getting a different tacoma and went with 1.75" in the front and that was way better, handling wise. Your vsc problem can be readjusted, but I forget how it's done. Sometimes they get finicky after being lifted. I think you need a plug in tool of some kind.

Your OP is confusing, especially after your above statement. Do you only want to hear about other people with your exact setup or what everyone else has and how they like it?

Either way, spacers on top of your bilsteins at 2.5 is probably not gonna ride great.

Just ordered a Truexdo roll up bed cover, N-Fab light bar and 4 KC lights 130 CP. Very good price through Autoanything and Amazon on the lights. Let you know how I like everything once I receive them and do the install. Will down load picks.

Maybe something like this OP is looking for ?
