I hear you on that...trust. True, all I'm going off of is my mileage, but I friggin swear I just pulled off 400 mi. per tank in city...somehow. I'm going to buy one of those scan gauges. Anybody have any recommendations? I'm looking to spend $200 or less on it. Thx dudes.

Whoa Whoa Whoa...my 2.7L 4 cyl was 2wd, not 4x4. That's why you're experiencing that you silly person.

When I type in "Tacoma Gas Mileage" in Google, here's what I get:

    up to 21 city / 25 highway
    2013 Toyota Tacoma, MPG

But let me guess...I'm lying about that too?

Single cab, 2wd 4 cyl. 5 lug even. Pre-runners are 2wd and get virtually the exact same mileage as a comparable 4wd, so that argument is invalid.

First off you dont go to Paramedic school to become a firefighter... As i am both a FF and Paramedic, thats not even close to right... they are two different things.. yes you can be both for one job..but its two different certifications...

(in bold)If your going to do this...and trying to be a FF/EMT-P why are you spending the money to do all of this to begin with...

BTW (in red) you have big ambitions for money at a FF/Paramedic.. in case you havent noticed we make nothing...

Although I do believe in Him, I'm no Jesus, and I work no magic. I am just "Extremely" meticulous in terms of gas mileage and efficiency. I look for every nook and cranny...and my other favorite website is EcoModder.com...

What yall don't understand, is that this is a challenge for me...that's why I'm doing this. I understand that there is no return investment...but it makes me happy/content to test theories and see actual results. I'm being completely honest...most of what I've tried is utter bull****.

    My 3 Best Recommended Maintenance/Mods I've done:

    1. O2 Sensor Replacement (by 150,000 mi.)...I couldn't even hit 350miles per tank before hand...
    2. Flex a Lite Electric fan w/thermostat combo (This thing is badass)
    3. SeaFoam vacuum lines (all vacuum lines)...this helped MPG bigtime...

Thanks for the tip metrick1215. I know...here in California, if I'm lucky enough to get in...I'd be starting off at $75,000 approximately a year just as a firefighter. I'm only doing the school to learn more and put myself above my competition...I'm white...and supposedly that makes my chances a lot less in California...

I make like $26,000 annually now, plus I'm getting laid off...whew...big loss lol

I don't care if I share how much I make, because I believe in myself, and I know I will succeed. With this and the whole stupid gas mileage thing.

I am happy when I get to 380 per tank. and that is about 50/50 city and highway.

heres an easy way for pictures that load fast and no bandwidth limit

    1) go to imgur.com and make an account. I have mine so it remembers me so i never have to re sign in

    2) upload pictures there. multiple ways (drag and drop, copy and past, or straight upload from computer.

    3) Once the picture is uploaded you can click on it and with will give you the BBCode so all you have to do is copy and paste that code into the comment section and boom picture appears.

LMAOOOOO... WOW!! YOU HAVE VERY HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR THIS JOB!!!! How do you think fresh out of school you will make that?!?!?!?!?!... In San Jose CA which is quoted in the census as having close to 1 million people running 74000 calls a year (just fire)...they only start FF/P at $65,000 with maxing out at 74,000... I think you are living in too much of a dream world with that pay.. and if being white in Cali will change your chances.. your deff wont be making that much money...
