I am 6'1', 245lb all-American white boy proud owner of this 8 year old Tacoma. You tell me what's "ricey" here?
I have been through 14 vehicles, 11 of which were American, 4 of which would put your Camaro to shame. The Tacoma is so well engineered, that the owner who possessed the intelligence to buy one already knows he cannot do much to improve upon it-maybe just make it "uniquer". I have always felt that way about the Tacoma. Why would you come here and group us all under one nasty term as "ricey" like that like you're picking a fight? I guarantee you nobody I contact in person would have the nerve to say that.

I'm somewhat unclear on the definition of this "rice" that he seems to disparage. What is "rice"? I mean, the fact that I own a Japanese truck that was made in America is kind of a Duh. It's not something I've ever worried about apparently....

    No kidding.

How well do those tuned Camaros do up in Uwharrie?

Yeah, I think you may be in the wrong place. Trucks are for offroading, towing, and hauling. Racing has diddly to do with it.

Its, basically, modifications to a vehicle that are only visual...to make it look faster without making it faster, make it look 'blingin'' or any such thing. The mod/modded vehicle is also usually either ridiculous or not well done or not matching with the real style of the vehicle or just cheap/tacky looking.

When it's done very stylishly/appropriatly/conservatively its usually not rice even if it doesn't actually serve a purpose, atleast from what I understand.

The only thing on here I've really seen that I would consider rice are the grills people put on from ebay/websites. ESPECIALLY when they put a matching one in the hood scoop. Also some overly blinged aftermarket bumpers and such that are on trucks that will never even roll over gravel.

what are you talking about?? We do mods for performance check out my taco!!!

I allowed some guys to steal my tailgate, dont you know it ups my mpg like 40mpg???

Seriously dude, a truck, its mostly bought because of its off road performance, or its towing haul capacity, if you wanted performance you should have stuck with your camaro, hell even a civic would do the trick, or buy an xrunner and supercharge the shit out of it, so in other words, yes you are on the wrong forum.... if you just wanted to troll, then GTFO and have a nice day... if not, welcome to TW
