Posting from my cell phone while waiting for some medicine so the post was not as informative as it could have been.

    Army Strong Baby!

On to other things. I have an MRI for my right knee scheduled for next Friday. I had to pick up some meds today, Idomethhacin 75mg. Read the drug report and scared the poop out of me.

On a happier note the Doctor took me off of Crestar today. Big accomplishment for me since the end of June.

Going out to see a very light, and hopefully funny movie tonight. The new Tyler Perry flick A Madea Christmas.

:( Sorry Tom.... BTDT Lots of glucosamine and chondroitin for me to keep the pain under control and make walking not bad

    :( sorry capt.

You should have read the fact sheet for the stuff the doc gave me to help get the fluid off my knee a couple of years ago  Didn't want to take it, but had to get the fluid off so they could do an MRI, and get good pics.

    :woot: for getting off Crestor

    x2 Capt. :(

I think some of the fact sheet stuff is lawyer driven. Disclosure is good, but the possibility of a lot of it is so extremely remote that I think I'd rather not know versus worrying about it. :notsure:

I am among the 60 plus crowd which is the new 40. I have had 5 Toyota Tacoma's all
have been 4x4.s. Had 87,94,00,01,07. Totaled my 94 when a 18 wheeler hit me head on. Walked away with a few stiches in my head. All but the 87 were v6's. We need 4x4's in Minnesota where we have snow 6-7 months of the year.

I'm another new 60+ guy. Bought my first Tacoma this past summer (2013, TRD?Trail pkg, leather seats, etc., etc.). Before that, I drove nothing but Jeeps (10 of them since 1979). I'm not a dedicated "wheeler" but do my share of offroad stuff getting into my bowhunting areas. As much as I loved my Jeeps, this truck is great. I'm glad I decided to switch 4x4 brands. No regrets at all. It does everything I need it to do.

    Evening all:
 PANIC mode here. Calling for 4-8 inches, and you would think a major blizzard is coming!

Welcome to Mike and Larry also; lots of room on the porch!

Tom and Capt.; Sorry to hear about the knee problems that you guys are having to deal with. Hopefully they will be able to fix you up, and get you good as new.

I read the fact sheet and got scared. Actually asked the wife to tell me if she thinks I am acting weirder than usual.

    You snooze, you lose!

So, here's a question for you - and maybe I missed this before - but why don't the emoticons work? I click and click and nothing happens.

Starting to snow here - lightly for now. We're supposed to get 4 to 5 inches, maybe more. Sounds like a good day to get a fire going, watch the Army-Navy Game, get a fire going in the fireplace and raid that cooler!!

Happy SATURDAY morning all...Welcome to Mike and Larry. Enjoy the thread and don't be afraid to jump in with any conversation[IMG]... Great people on the thread.

Hi Mark, I lost my emoticons a short time back. I tried to get them to work with a click but no Go. Now I just "copy" and "paste". A pain in the arse but it works.

I can relate to all of us with knee issues. ACL and meniscus issues in the left knee and the start of arthritis in the right[IMG]...try to stay off the drugs but occasionally a few Advil helps. They are not bad enough for replacement yet.

How did everyone fair on Friday the 13th[IMG]...I had a terrible day at work(but then again, any day at work is terrible[IMG]) counting down till retirement([IMG])21 days so I can spend more time sitting on the porch with the rest of you.
