I want projectors, but I agree they just don't look right.

I don't want to be that guy who puts HIDs into regular housings

just get some Hella 500s..HID them..done. Cheaper..works better since you can get 55w HIDs.

I didn't bother with my head lights.

Yeah, HID off road lights are awesome. Really want some Lightforce HID 170's...

But I wanted something you can use on the highway.

I am not really the offroading type because there isn't much to do where I live other than mud, so I don't need HID hellas nor have a place to stick them. If I were to get some aux lights it then they would probably be Rigid D4s

Yeah, I've just had trouble with law enforcement in the past getting onto me for using my four KC's on the road.

Gotta only use 2 ;) and always drive with your finger on the switch to kill stuff soon as you see lights pretty much.

really..surprised i haven't gotten in trouble for rolling around with my head lights, fogs, and mirror lights on..

They were just like, "Yeah you can't have any auxiliary lights on when driving"

Which I know isn't true because I looked it up, but didn't feel like arguing haha

I don't see anything wrong with running those except maybe the mirror lights.

Yeah, weird deal for sure. Didn't help that they thought I was spot lighting just because I was about to turn around next to a field. Haha

I'm ready to see what the fogs will do when I get them installed, should be pretty bright.

    Bone stock. For now.
All I got done tonight was the front doors. It went relatively quickly (about an hour and twenty minutes including clean-up). I will probably just do the back doors on Sunday afternoon, and wait yet another week to do the rest of the interior. Also, I may have to order another 13.5sq ft roll of V-Comp. Not sure just yet. Here are some pics:

    All the tools/supplies I used:

    With the door panel off:

Took the plastic dust liner off and wiped it down/dried it off:

Cut some of the B-Quiet Extreme into tiles for the outer door skins:

Got my V-Comp sound barrier cut out for the inner door:

    Glued on:

And the door panel back on:

I haven't driven it as of yet, and don't expect just a night and day difference as far as road noise goes, but I did sit in it and listen to some music. I will definitely have to make some adjustments to my levels because the front door speakers come through noticeably louder! So this may bode well for when I get the whole thing done!

    It'll make a big difference.

It's probably too late now but you should put a 6x6" piece of that sound dampening material (V-comp) directly behind your speaker, on the outer skin.

It cuts down on the back wave created by the speaker and really tightens up the mid ranges.

Installed my cb antenna on the rack. Still not sure if I like the location and might paint the bracket black to blend in a little. Should be able to mount the cb and run the coax for it later this week.

Nice, did you just use spray adhesive to stick the v-comp ? I'm on my phone so the pictures didn't load
