My gf doesn't have any control over my money and I don't have any control over hers. We don't share any finances, so I don't have to talk her into letting me buy things. There are some times when she suggests that I stop spending money, but that's like every other month or so haha

Ya that's how we are too but it saves a few lectures/arguments if she agrees with what I'm buying :D

This is why you guys need a gf like mine!! She supports me, actually takes some interest in my mods, and splits cost with some like my retros and my relentless bumper with me for birthday and christmas presents.

My gf tries to be interested, but it's like talking to somebody that acts like they know vehicle mods... Haha

My family tries to buy stuff for my truck, but they don't know what to get me...

Yeah my mom says, "Your truck is not a toy. It is a means of transportation and you need to stop messing with it and just drive it." I did send her the link to the CBI a pillar light brackets and I think those will be under the tree

We'll see what happens this year. Not going to be home for Christmas for the first time this year, but I'm going to try to get home around New Years'.

Last year they got me a couple things then gave me a bunch of cash haha

Hoping to get enough money to buy a skid plate...

I used Rustoleum self-etching primer and Rustoleum Bedliner. Gives it a powdercoated look. I've used it on my sliders, bed rail, and flares too.

    Thanks!

Brent i can't remember now that you aren't close by, with the rustoleum bedliner, once it gets dirty does it seem to hold the dirt even after washing? Or does it clean up without dirty looking blemishes in it? Maybe give us a couple up close shots of the finish on the bumper...

Cleans up pretty well. Just take a power washer to it and it gets it off.

I'll try to get pics when I get the chance. Working mids for 7 days straight.... Haha

One light coast and one heavy coat of primer, and one light coat and one heavy coat of bedliner.

I've got to touch up a few spots because we were in a time crunch to get it back on, so there are a couple spots with some primer showing through.

I know you can put tire shine on it to bring out the black :)

What were the temps when you were painting? That might have something to do with the spotty coverage. Thanks again!

    Thanks for the tip @CohbsTaco

I just use spray detailer to make it look perfectly new if I feel like taking my time.

It was definitely cold, probably high 50's.

It wasn't spotty coverage, it just came off where we rubbed it against the grill and stuff like that.
