yea, I haven't even seen your new ride yet :(

Good thing with being so busy at work is they let me roll my unused vacation over so next year Ill have 18 days. So many times I was going to do things this year and work got in the way I just stopped posting that I was going to try and make things. Started lurking on events and showing up if I could.

Because no one else at my company does what I do I have no backup if we get busy or shit hits the fan. From what I'm told Ill be looking to hire someone to help me this coming year so that will be nice in a couple years when they know their stuff.

Last boat I had I never even took out. My mom bought it for me for a steal of a deal. It was an old tri-hull bow rider. No idea what made her think I wanted a boat? Sat for two years and she ended up selling it and making a couple hundred. I lost all interest in them after seeing all the bs associated with them my whole life.

Don't get me wrong - I love a good boat trip, just in someone elses boat :D

I want one so so so bad..... I might make it my BDay present this coming year.....
I was looking at the wr250r but I have to go sit in one... I'd like to reach the floor w both feet and I read the WR is ideal for riders 5'10 - 6' and I'm 5'9" 160 lbs

    What do you ride?

    funny you should ask….

    I ride a wr250r :D

it is tall for me, I'm 5'6. but its not a bike you need to be able to touch the ground with both feet. when I come to a stop I slide to one side and put a foot down. There is a bit of lowering that you can do too. theres about an inch of lowering available just by adjusting the rear suspension, and if you need more theres the "yamalink" which lowers it another inch. I'll probably eventually lower it with the stock settings, but you need to lower the forks too so you keep the right geometry.

Awesome.... maybe one of this day you can let me have a test drive.... :D.... lol.... jk I'm really rusty riding bikes....
    How much you weight?
One of the features I like about the WR over other 250 is that it has more travel both front and rear than other dual sports from other manufacturers. .... I'm assuming you lose some of this down travel by lowering right? Maybe I'll put up a few extra pounds to reach the froor...lol

my buddy just got the CRF 250L. It was a toss up between the Yamaha and Honda but the Honda was $2k cheaper and 2" shorter on the seat height.

I bought mine from fred- tacticalbacon13, so i didn't have a choice which model. but compared to anthony's kawi 250, i like mine a lot better.

the wr seems more like a street legal dirt bike than a dual sport. I used to have a suzuki drz400 which I really enjoyed, but i like the wr way more. its more aggressive and powerful, lighter, more of a dirt bike.

and yea you can ride it. you'll have to come over for a mod day sometime
