    Hi TacomaWorld!

I was referred to the site by my dad. I have a 2007 4x4, but I am not an expert, and I was hoping you guys could help me locate an ABS sensor module. The part in question is: TO44050-04070

I was advised to look for a remanufactured part. The dealer wants 1300 for this part and I just know I can find a better price online. Any suggestions?

that's true, it's the modulator/actuator according to the mechanic (i did diagnose it). the sensors go directly on the wheels i believe (i am no mechanic). i swapped the terms. i can find it used about 200 and new for 800. do you have any online dealers that you recommend?

junkyard, they use a program called hollander interchange that will tell you all compatible parts, even if they are from a different make/model of car... usually sensors like that are made by one big company like bosch or some mahle or some other OEM manufacturer.

yes, you should check with a junkyard, I have a good relationship with one down here in San Diego. I don't know where you are but wrecked toyotas are common down here, or you could check with napa auto parts or toyota of dallas
