So how'd last night go?

 

No but seriously, that might be how it is at your school but where I went there are no business, poly sci or english majors. All engineering or real science of some sort and we need to blow off steam at some point. This resulted in some heinous parties every weekend.

New Mexico Tech.

Yeah I know, no football team so most people don't care but I loved the fact that my $5k per semester tuition (paid for by scholarships) went to things other than a football team.

 

LSU is the same way. It's one of the few Division 1 schools that has a self supported athletic department. They don't take a dime from the school. TAF actually gives money to LSU

 

Yeah that's what happens when you have a really good football team. I know Ohio State out here is pretty cheap for residents, not sure if their football team is self supported.

Edit: Also it made my night to see Ohio loose last weekend

 

I think it's LSU, Nebraska, and one other random school. Most of the powerhouses still take money from the school

 

I learned that my program is kind of it's own entity away from my college. It bears the name but they do all their own funding. The main campus keeps coming and asking us for money and we're like nope!

I found this out because our program bought a couple new trucks and they were pissed when they got them because they just said "Colorado State University" on the sides of them. They quickly took it off and put CSU Equine Sciences lol

 

Same with my school... engineers can fucking drink. A lot. And when they get drunk funny shit happens... we have lots of drunk inventions floating around our house.

Last night was my roommate's last night in town so we went out to several bars in town and most of us got shitfaced... met a huge black guy that said he played football in Greece and some girl came home with us that was 27 and had 2 kids. She left her ring and curling iron here... who the fuck carries a curling iron in their purse to the bar?

Interesting. The last time I blacked out I ended up with a 26 year old, she only had one kid though, and no curling iron

 

I thought it was funny... about as fun as it gets here

she left her facebook up on my computer but the page locked up, or I'd post a pic of her. She was decent looking. She was also smoking in our apartment when the landlord came this morning to check him out, luckily didn't smell anything haha

Shit. Didn't realize that was last night, just figured it was some night you went out. Why was your landlord checking out your roommate?

I don't think so. I didn't but not sure if the roommate did. She was trying to get a ride home all night so guess she wasn't into him haha

 

I had this guy that was like trying to kidnap me away from my friends. I danced with him and he was creepy so ran back over to them and he bear hugged me and was trying to drag me back to the dance floor. So I bear hugged my friend and was like save me! We made a big chain and he eventually left me alone lol
