I already know it's way steep, but what's the cost?

    They're 6x7 by the way

    Finished painting my grille.

They should rename it from "Murphy's Law" to "Madjik's Law"... I tell ya. :(

First order crapitude... trying to remove my corner lights so I can color match the trim: Break the clip on the bottom holding that pressure pin in, then crack the trim around the light itself (the part that's visible and was to be painted) and also somehow managed to break the tab that the screw goes through. I was gentle as possible - I just think the plastic was too cold. Besides I have no facking clue how you get that pressure pin out of the clip without destroying it.

So now I have to order new corner lights

Second order of shittiness: As I'm laying the base coat little black specs of shit end up in the paint. Trying to remove them with tweezers I end up putting two smears in the base coat. :annoyed:

Third order of yougottabefuckinkiddingme: The clear coat I was using spit out two or three globs which are clearly visible. Then the "vertical/horizontal nozzle" kept rotating while I was dusting the clear coat on. Motherfacker can't catch a fackin break

Fourth order of seriouslywhydoyouhatemeUniverse: Of course it's the first day in weeks where it's windy... coinciding with the day I'm painting. After leaving the warehouse (where I painted the grille) one hour later - trying to let everything cure a bit - dust/crap/crud blew onto the grille as I was carrying it to the truck. It's stuck there now because the clear coat must have still been a tad tacky. Hopefully this will come off after it's fully cured.

All in all, I'll file this one under "it's good enough." I think once I wash and wax my truck the color match will be pretty close. Hard to get decent pics.

Naturally, it's supposed to be in the mid to upper 50s until the day you get here. Then it's supposed to be a high of 20.

Yes it's a lot of stuff but my thinking was to have it at the tip of my fingers if I need it for a 3k mile trip I have coming up in bad weather. I saw it on a buddy's jeep and decided to try it.

It does not look like it from the pic but the hi lift is almost line with the tire.

It's actually not bad, 1 bolt and a hitch pin and it's off. But I see your point.
