My slow build of "The little Taco that could"

So I ordered some Egay lights that were blacked out with the bulbs/connections and for cheaper than getting new stock lights. I figured that cheap lights would be better than expensive LED taillights that would possibly get broken again later down the line. Thinking of ways for light protection.

 

This is the side that I didn't have to re shape the sheet metal for the light to fit.

 

So the Wife wants to name my truck "Smaug" from The Hobbit due to being black with a partial red hood. Anyone object?

 

needs a flame decal..haha

 

I dig it. Good name for a truck.

My tailgate... After I straightened it out with my tire.




Still need to get in gear and continue my rear bumper and weld my tire carrier onto the bumper.

 

Got some work done on the rear of my truck. Finally mounted my tire carrier.

 

Got time to cut out the hole for my winch cable for my rear mounted winch.

 

So far so good. A few more things on the to do list

A truck came by my house and dropped off these things

 

Mounted them up and went for a little test drive after.


Wasn't too bad to me. Could hear my exhaust over the sound of the tires.
