I fill with 87 Octane, when the pump clicks off, its done. When the light comes on, there usually is like 2-4 gallons of gas remaining in the tank from what I've read on other forums. I'm too scared to blow past the 400 mile mark though. I've ran out of gas 2wice before...eh...not fun and can burn up your fuel pump quick.

Well there ya go. How do you guys suggest I prove my claim...

Anybody can fool a camera into believing mileage by not retripping the trip odometer...any suggestions...so I can be brutally honest?

I'm still trying to figure out what vacuum compression is. Call me stupid but I always thought they were entirely different. Unless your talking about storage bags.

    Check my Fuelly.

I generally gas up at around 360 miles and still have 5 gallons left.
I've run over 400 on a number of occasions... low fuel light is on, but still doesn't take more than 18 or so, leaving 3 gallons to go.
I had one tank that made 500, but I'm not calling it "legit" because I put in $5 to make it to payday... but when I filled it, the total of the fillup plus the $5 was still less than 21.1, so I would have made it.

Worthywads pulls 500+ all the time.

Maybe it the little bit of vacuum the pcv valve will pull, and its being lost because of a small leak.

    5 lug or 6 lug?

I guess i should also state that instead of running 245/75/16 I have 255/70/16. Practically the same height but mine are a lil wider than stock with more aggressive tread.

I have peaked at 21.3 mpg 50/50 driving

You must use motorkote, 3 tornados and 7 magnets on the fuel line.

Op, you say you've researched tacomas and fuel efficency like it was your job. How come you have a k&n filter, Im sure the motorkote and fitch fuel have horrible reviews on ecomodder.

If you were a real ecomodder you would roll mooncaps and a aeroshell.

Also why not just take the power steering and a/c off instead of running it off of an electric motor.

Pretty good I got 28 on a road trip one time, mostly flat and 55mph for a couple hours with zero traffic will get you amazing mileage.

    When I was stock.
