Are you running all-pro leafs? I was unable to find 1.5" longer (5" bolt to bolt) shackles from anywhere except all-pro and those will not fit springs that take OEM type bushings like my alcans.

I ended up going with 2" longer (5.5" bolt to bolt) shackles from toytec.

I would not be happy with those numbers. The worst number is actually the left caster, way to low. Also, the camber numbers should be more similar as well.

2" of lift is enough to diminish how much caster you can get with stock upper control arms. When I was first lifted and still running stock UCAs, the best caster I was able to get was similar to yours on the right side but it was that way on both sides.

Unless your lower control arm bushings are worn out or the adjuster cams are frozen, a competent alignment tech should be able to set the toe and camber very close on 0 degrees and the caster as high as possible. Without aftermarket UCAs the best caster you can expect is ~+1.5 degrees.

Ok thanks for the reply... I was under the impression that I wanted all numbers to be as close to 0 as possible. So I want my caster to be over 1 degree? New UCAs aren't really in the budget right now, will these numbers cause any problems or will I be ok for a while?

Yeah, I read your build thread after I wrote that.

For shackle options, you have no choice actually. Other brands will be a PITA to make fit. AP springs use non-standard bushing and bolt sizes.

Caster normally does not impact tire wear, only handling, But yours being pretty uneven side to side may have more of an impact.

The ideal numbers are 0* toe. 0* camber on both sides. Or as close as possible.

Toyota states the "in spec" range for a non-lifted truck is -.65* to +.85* for camber, 1.28* to 2.78* for caster and -.08* to +.12* for toe.

Yeah those are tough conditions. You could actually make the steel (facing the source) too hot with heaters.

And other parts of the steel might be too cold.

Did the Sea Foam treatment through the booster hose and into the tank today. I'm a couple months and 2200 miles away from an oil change, so I'll wait on the crankcase cleanup. It smoked and choked while I was letting it sip the SF. Let it sit for about 20 minutes then left in a cloud of smoke for Christmas get together with the in-laws. After a mile or so the smoke was gone. Seems to be running a little smoother. Hopefully I'll pick up a bit of a mileage gain. I'll switch to Amsoil at the next change. That usually gains me some mpg. At least it has with the other vehicles I've had. I know, it's a truck, so it's not going to get fantastic mileage. It's also my daily driver, so I want to squeeze what I can out of it. If I can average 18, I'll be okay with that. If I can do better, I'll be very happy! So far, I've done 17.6, 17.1, and 17.9. Close, but not quite there yet. Even with winter fuel, I should get 18 with good driving habits, which I have.

Other than floor mats and a $50 aluminum topper (ugly but functional), I haven't done any mods. I'm not quite sure how you guys afford some of the stuff you are doing to your trucks. Not that I don't like your mods, I just can't afford them as a semi-retired teacher...whose wife is a semi-retired accountant (every penny gets pinched...twice).

I still enjoy watching the builds though, so you guys have fun as long as you let me watch...hmmm that sounded kinda bad now that I think about it. :spy:

Are stock shackles considered non-standard? I have the AP standard pack with stock shackles and they fit fine. Kinda on the same note.... would ordering just ONE extended length shackle (driver side) fix my taco lean?
