Thanks guys for keeping an eye out.

The stolen truck does not belong to me. Sorry for the confusion if anyone thought it was. Mine is a red 2010. It's my neighbor's and he's absolutely broken hearted about this. We got our trucks at the same time and we've always been like "Toyota truck siblings".

That night before it was stolen, as I was arriving home late, some shady dudes were leaving our court, walking fast. They looked at me funny because I slowed down thinking WTH were THESE hoodlum looking guys doing here??

That morning, the truck was gone. :(

Strong profiling. They were probably just Jehovah's witnesses.

In all seriousness, I'll keep an eye out in the east bay, my first truck was a 1991 toyota extra cab pickup.

LOL for real. Yeah with drooping pants, long straggly hair and scruffy faces at 800pm. I only wish.. :(

Thanks for keeping an eye out.

It's a nice truck and all, I guess they were looking for parts. And they lucked out if so. He got a new cat (that was stolen a few months ago), new exhaust, that new crazy bumper, a new water pump, new belts, and a new alternator. All OEM except for the bumper.

They're everywhere in Australia. I don't think they had many here in the states, though.

Where the heck is your build page? Also check in with the 2nd gen 3"lift with 35's no body lift to get your name on the list.

so I am at about 91.5k on my odometer, and I got my last oil change at about 85.9k. Any recommendations on what I should do? I have heard mixed things about when I need an oil change.

EDIT: I have been getting my oil changes at the dealer so I don't know exactly what they have been putting in. All I know is that it has been "oil".

Oh boy... About a million different opinions (not to mention threads) on this one.

Might be worth calling up the stealership to see what they've been putting in it.

I personally use Mobil 1 Full synth. OEM filter, and change every 5k

Which reminds me... I'm due for one!

I Also Go with Mobile 1 full synthetic 5w30 with OEM filter every 5k. Sometimes ill throw a bottle of techron in with a tank too (once or twice a year around an oil change). With your mileage, you might want to consider mobile 1 high mileage or extended mileage variations.

How have you been on your other maintenance/fluids, like front/rear diff oil, transfer case oil, air filters, cabin air filters...?

Hmm okay I'll look into those. Thanks. I'll probably go with Mobile 1 Synthetic

Regarding the other stuff it's all been done by what the dealer recommends since my parents owned it until last year.
The only one I really know about is the air filters and those I just change when they get dirty. But the tranny, t-case, and diffs I am going to look into and find out.
How often do you recommend that they get done?

I did all mine at 30k, but I don't remember what the actual factory recommendations are.

For non-mechanical LSD, there is no recommendation in the maintenance guide. If towing or mechanical LSD, it does say 30k miles.
