oh I c. makes sense. thanx. so whats ur opinion on the best fuel efficient tire? looking some in less than 200 miles. don't offroad yet. will when I get back on feet

its a little thumstar 125 haha, shes running alittle rough right now so i was working on it while i was letting the paint dry

 

So I ended up deciding to pull the carpet out after I did the back doors yesterday. It didn't take anywhere near as long as I thought it would. Total time, with back doors included, was about 4 hours. And that was with some beer breaks in between.

I ordered 50 sq ft of the B-Quiet Ultimate, and 40sq ft of the V-Comp. I ended up having ~10 sq ft of the Ultimate left over, and just some scrap material of the V-comp. I did all four doors, the back wall, and the floor board. I will probably pull the headliner next weekend and use the rest of the Ultimate up there.

After driving some last night, and to work this morning, I have noticed a SIGNIFICANT difference in road/wind noise. I can still hear the engine, as well as some road noise, through the firewall, but I expected that. Overall, the cabin is much, much quieter, and the doors sounds amazing when they shut! In my opinion, this is well worth the $197 and few hours of work. I can actually hear myself think when I'm on the highway now! And people can hear me much clearer on my bluetooth. In other words, this is a highly recommended mod!

 

I understand that the reason the shocks attach at opposite sides of the axle (on a stock truck) is to reduce axle wrap. Have you noticed any difference?

 

Picked up my fog light switch and 6 switch housing from OTRATTW. Now I'm just waiting on my fogs to come in. Whenever that'll be.....

 

I may have to get one of those...I've been trying to figure out where to put switches and I don't use the pocket that's there.

Keep in mind though, you'll have to trim some of the surrounding trim under the pocket to make it fit correctly...

 

New brakes, hoses, timing belt, water pump, injectors, ignition banks, plugs, rotated wheels, cleaned intake, plugs.
It was a busy weekend.

 

I need a weekend like this... my truck is in desperate need of timing belt, water pump, and power steering pump.

haha there a freaking blast to cruise around on and so easy to throw in to take camping and what not.. its crazy the power that little sucker has hauling my fat ass around.

Can anyone lead me to some instructions on calibrating my ultra guage for bigger tires and distance/ MPG/ MPH?

I've searched and can't find it on the UG website either.
