RC RC RC...........Price for black diamond plate, white diamond plate & black carbide for reg cab, please. Gonna need a set, just not sure which yet.

Here's an idea for you too..........How about making these to replace or cover the sad plastic strip across the top of all of our tailgates? I would be down for one of those too. All 3 in black carbide or diamond plate would be bitchin...............whichever one would hold up best colorwise in UV on top of tailgate (if those ever happen to get produced)

I haven't really looked at my doors sills until last night. I assumed they would be easy to remove as I broke and had to replace the ones I had on my old Silverado. These appeared fastened a little better than I thought. What is the best way to remove the factory ones? Just brute force?

Are you referring to an adhesive door sill protector or the actual plastic piece that mates the carpet to body transition?

Genius idea. My Tacoma's got low miles but the paint on the driver's side door sill already looks crappy. When these are available for sale will they include adhesive? If not, what adhesive do you recommend?

Supposed to finally get out of the singe digits on Wednesday and might even break 30 degrees, that is my first step. Being warmer out seems to help. Then a heat gun keeping it constantly moving across the plastic to heat it and being careful to not burn the paint. Start at a corner with an old plastic credit card or plastic wedge and lift the corner and keep pulling on it heating it as you go. At least that is what several posts have said that I have found for the Tundra have suggested. I also have some auto debadging fluid in a spray can I will try to squirt under it once I get it starting to lift. I can let you know for sure Wednesday night unless you get a chance to do it first then you can fill me in :) I want to have it ready when the test fit pieces comes in and not have anything hold up verification of fit.

The adhesive door sill protector...I assume it is adhesive. I almost ripped my fingers off trying to pull it up. I'll try the method Cold Iron Suggested and see how that works.

My OEM ones are not little thin ones like some people are talking about. Mine is a 2013, so maybe they changed them at some point. My OEM ones are still inferior to G-TEK's but not thin by any means.

Hmmm those are quite different than the ones on my 2013 AC so not sure. Mine are very thin and worse don't wrap over the edge where most of the wear usually occurs IME.

Dunno, they are better than what I have for sure but these new ones for sale here are the upgrade for both IMO.
