    Also you guys say you can let go of the clutch in 4low in first and the truck will roll/crawl automatically but when I was on twerk in that one spot I would have stalled if I tried to do that (I know cause I tried). I ended up needing to clutch with my left foot and heel/toe with my right.

    will only work on zero to minimal trail resistance. it's a nice low ratio but it is by no means a crawl box ratio.

    Granted I've learned a ton better throttle control since then. But the main reason I smashed my skid so hard that first time was because if I let go of the brake to go to the gas I had to do it quickly otherwise I would roll back. I feel heel/toeing the gas made it easier to get out of situations like that.

    Please correct me if I'm wrong guys, clearly I'm still learning the techniques and tricks lol.

    Yep.
    Depending on the situation, nothing wrong with a little roll back.

    IMO you can crawl slow enough (almost to stall point) and just feather the gas as needed. just try not to ride or work the clutch too much.

    To each his own though. You'll find a way you like wheel :thumbsup:

    I noticed that you could have kept going with a little gas. And if you were to clutch in such incline you need to be able to ride the brake back down so the gravity doesn't pull you so hard the moment you clutch and eventually slam down... that's what I have learn from using my 4lo.... my apologies if I steer you the wrong way.... 4lo, 2hi, 4hi...and possible even with a crawler....if you are not moving at all and not clutching or giving it gas you are going to stall...and if you working against gravity and you clutch with out the brake gravity will take over

    I was riding the shit out my clutch at stokes.... being a manual transmission driver everyday since 03 I would clutch like crazy out reflex every time I slowed down.... now I don't unless I come to almost a full stop

    No apologies necessary my friend. Watching the video and listening to you guys made me put more thought into using the clutch and brake in those situations, as well as putting trust into the lower gears. I think I just need more seat time.

    I was getting pissed about that one hill that took me three tries this time around though. I was hugging passenger side when I should have been hugging driver, right?
