I machined up some spacers for the Total Chaos LCA's to adapt to the Maxtrac spindles. Much happier with this than the washers I was using.
Steel rod 1 inch OD, 5/8 ID and .680 height. They fit absolutely perfect. Just had to tap them in lightly to fit. Attaching hardware is now a M16x80 grade 10.9 bolt with Nyloc nut.

I did do them myself. I probably can whip up another set for a few dollars. Are you doing the exact same setup, Total Chaos LCA and Maxtrac?

Im doing a total chaos +3.5 kit, so full long travel with the maxtrac's. So I would assume that everything would be the same. As long as the upper uniball cups clear the spindle at full droop/bump. If i get it on the truck and something doesn't clear or hits that i can't easily fix, i have stock spindles to use.

PM sent. As far as the the size of the uniball adapter plate either measure it or if you don't have the kit yet email TC and ask.

Well i'm at the part I hate the most Shaping and sanding so its slowed down some. Plus with the work on the LCA's I got slowed down the process.
But the tray I made is bonded to the Bezel and the iPad fits great. Just have to incorporate the magnets sand and paint and were good.

I switched some things up from my original plan on using magnets to hold it in place. They became a bit of a pain in the ass with the way they had to be oriented in the bezel so I went a different route. I am now using a thin plastic hard case I picked up for 15 bucks from best buy. I attached that to the fiberglass tray I made and fairing it in with bondo. So the iPad mini will be snapping into the tray.
In hindsight, I could have probably started with just this tray and skipped the fiberglass panel. Just bond the Rocketfish hard case to the Bezel, slap some bondo to fill in the gaps and all would be fine i'm sure.

New Sony MEX-GS600bt headunit shows up tomorrow to complete this mod!

Here is the plastic hard case i picked up

All in all it came out pretty good (it will look way better with the black iPad i'm getting.) The flash of the camera really brings out a few flaws in my sanding and shaping skills. It looks better IRL. Don't ask me to make you one. Way too time consuming. In the end I was like its good enough paint the fucker and put it in. It will do exactly what I want it to do. 99% percent of the time i'm by myself while driving anyways. A job like this is for someone with patience....something I don't have when it comes to sanding, shaping and painting.

I also received my Universal bluetooth GPS receiver. I will be using this to make the Ipad mini (wifi only) GPS capable without a wifi connection or any connection for that matter. This little antenna provides GPS to the Ipad thru bluetooth no matter where you are in the world. So I can be out in the Desert no signal but my ipad will still have GPS. I use the GPSkit app which allows you to download topographic maps for offline gps use. This has been my main source of offroad navigation on my iPhone and I now will be using a much larger screen for navigation. Very helpful for my old eyes.
It also has an app that allows you to see what its doing and looking at. I attached a couple of screenshots of the app below.

Thats a pretty cool gps unit. How well does it keep up? Is there any delay from receiving signal and relaying it to the ipad via Bluetooth?

No. I used it last night on my way to work on my phone. I shut off wifi, cellular and data on my phone and just used this GPS unit and it was dead nuts on. As I passed streets going down the freeway the moving map was in perfect sync.
