Sweet thanks, thats a good idea. I have already used some paper to stuff behind it lol also im thinking of using the factory metal brace instead of the flimsy plastic ones

Here's how my trans mount is boxed in. TG motor mounts as well. No issues here.

Just finished this Gen 1 up for a customer. TC LT with boxed lowers, rear deavers and custom shock mounts to keep it all under the bed for a good trail and go fast setup.

Quality? These are the TC spindle gussets I just got in the mail.

I imagine I can just bend it as needed but you would think they would get them a little closer. The one side is close to flush and the other side isn't even touching... the rest of the gusset looks alright though.

We see that from time to time. I don't know why, but that's one of the only gusset's TC sends in a bag, not boxed. I have a feeling they get bent up in shipping a bit. Just tap it closer with a hammer and good to go, but I think they need to start boxing those like the Gusset's with the Sway bar option and all the coil bucket gussets.

I had ordered mine before I had heard about those...
They came boxed up with the rest of my parts from DMZ. Given that location of the bend though I highly doubt it get bent in shipping.

Luckily it's not a big issue, I just didn't expect it from TC I guess.. My cam tab gussets look great, but those were cut out on a CNC table I'm sure which has good precision.

Just Ugly IMO. These looks nicer. But to each their own. IF they are strong, that's what matters

I know, that was my point though. A computer did all of the work on the cam tabs. A guy did half the work on the spindle gussets. Luckily it was something minor so maybe that is why the attention to detail was lacking just a tad. Like I said just surprised me more than anything.

    And parts explosion!:woot:

What are the shortbed guys with the DMZ kit running for limit straps? Originally I was going to run an adjustable clevis but Tim said he has had problems with the clevises getting hung up on rigs that left the bed intact. He recommended 17" long straps.

17's would be a good #. Then you have 1" or so of wiggle room where to mount it off the frame. Figure too you will get about 1" of stretch over time on the rear end of a truck. We have them from 8" up to 40". all the same price, Quad wrapped.

Depends on where you plan to mount the straps.
Don't bother buying straps until after you have everything the way you want it...and then measure.
