OP you aren't new at all you have been here for probably 8 months so please just quit trying to make yourself seem smart its not helping. If you want to make a Tacoma hybrid take a Prius and weld a bed on and call it a truck then tell us about how good it does off road oh and let's not forget its bajillion mpg!!

For the challenge. if u can get 25mpg in a taco that would be a 20% increase. u would need to get 60 ish in a prius for that kinda percentage increase. plus if it can be done in a Toyota (obviously the pentical of automotive engineering) it could be used in all other manufacturers since they are inferior.

It was so funny. My friend was smoking a cig when we were talking about our rigs. He has a 4Runner, I have the Tacoma...both 4x4. We were talking about mileage and stuff...the typical for me right? He proceeded to make fun on me jokingly, the usual..."Ya right, whatever" mentality.

Anyways, he was telling me how he pulls off like 250-350 miles per tank. When I told him I pull off 400 +, he dropped his cigarette, and started coughing. He proceeded to say "WHAT? Really???" Now he's a squatcher...in other words...he's a believer. :D

I think your truck is from Canada. Those miles are actually kilometers

I'm no Jesus, but similar to how the Bible puts it...Jesus came to Earth for those who are sick, and not well...(sinners, not followers)

I'm here to improve the gas hogs, not the gas sippers. I'd feel like I would be wasting my time improving something that is already...improved.

No, not at all. I'm nothing like Jesus, I follow Him. I'm speaking hypothetically to make it easier to understand.

I got it...don't refer to me as the prophet of efficiency anymore...I like Dr. more. Just call me Dr. GreenDeanMachine.

When your MPGs are sick, come and see me. Best part of this...there's no co-pay.

This ^^^, replace the outside rear view mirrors with cameras, pizza tins over the wheels, blue painter's tape over all your body seams and tape a raw egg to your accellerator pedal.

Most of the rest can go to Ecomodder's Unicorn Corral.

    Done!

I don't like the "pissed off go-kart" sound.

I had a Magnaflow on my '94 and it was okay, but I have yet to hear an aftermarket exhaust for the 2nd gen that would not bug the piss out of me on the highway.
