Nice! The frame end mod sounds pretty straightforward but it's nice to have those pics to refer too. Thanks man! According to FedEx, my bumper should be here Thursday! Now I just need to figure out why my mig wont lay a decent bead...

Yes, should have been there or maybe in the hardware bag? I remember making sure they were there as one of my guys was wrapping it up. If they're not there let me know, I've got more around the shop:cool:

Hey eric. When putting the fog lights together what way does the pipe go? Small side to the middle or small side to the out side? Pretty sure I did this one backwards but im not sure

Definitely backwards. You need to mirror it the opposite way. That should be the last thing you weld to the bumper aside from recovery points and top tube.

Yeah I was holding the plate upside down when I fit it up. But I already cut it off and rewelded it. I was actually thinking to weld these and the recovery points first because it can be done on the bench without taking the bumper off the truck. Expecially the fog light holes because I dont think I could get a tig torch in there inbetween the center section and fog light tube

It'll be a Bitch to sand the seams near the recovery points if you weld them in before sanding the wing plate welds though.... my $.02

If your talking about sanding the bumper so I can paint it, Im in the process of sandblasting everything. But if youre talking about grinding down the weld on the outside, then I didnt think of that. Thanks for the input. Im taking pics as I go so ill be throwing a write up together, should be posted by sunday night if everything goes well

Yeah, was referring to blending out the beads on the outside of the bumper. If you TIG it clean, screw the sanding! Leave the clean looking beads and just paint over. :D

Im hopping for that. My free hand skills are a big shaky, but my walking skills are pretty good right now for not having tigged in 6months. Do you weld the foglights all the way around? I only did 4 stitches. And do you bevel the edges of the plates before you weld or is it all butt welds on the back and groove welds on the face?

Yep, 4 welds around the fog recesses.
And 4 stitches down the insides of the long seams, and then fully weld the outside. I dont bevel any joints, just run hot to get it burnt in.

Has anyone had issues tracking their orders through fedex? My tracking status hasn't changed since it shipped last week and the delivery date was supposed to be today.

He makes the shipping tags before he ships them, so it's not completely accurate. But I have also been having trouble tracking anything through Fedex, UPS, and USPS lately.
