Ok , I guess it it is time I chimed in. So this camp ground does not allow dogs?
Does anyone have the address and/or name of the actual camp ground?? Just need to find out to see if we can go, but if they difinitely don't allow dogs then I wnt be able to go.

BTW, how about we pick a CB channel so we can put that on the OP too so those that are only coming for a day can know what channel to use to find us if not at the camp site. Preferably something between 10 and 30 since I'm guessing that's where most ppl will get out best. I'm not sure what's busy these days, but back in the day I think we used to use 23.

think we just typically run channel 4 or something like that. Not really an issue when youre out there. Just what is easy for the group.

Yeah...my SWR sucks near channel 1 and 40, which means I won't get out far, but it's at it's lowest near 20. I would imagine this is how most ppl are if their antenna is tuned properly (though, those with longer antenna won't have quite as narrow a tuning band as those of us with two footers). Probably not a big issue for truck to truck comms on the trail, but I'm guessing with nearly 30 vehicles, we'll probably have more than one group running around, especially with the 2WD & 4WDs seeking their own challenges. I was just thinking it might be good to maximize our range for comms between groups. For folks with a short (tuned) antenna, that means staying near channel 20.

    Just a suggestion though.

We usually aim to move out around 9, but typically don't pull out of camp till like 10. so if you are there around 9, you will be fine.

Guy is bringing his. As is The Duck. Not sure about others. Nicko or TAC1 is bringing his but they are 16 and 20, IIRC so they don't count as wee chillins. :D

I will be there by lunch at the latest as long as nothing slows me down that morning. I actually hope to be there by 11 or so. I confirmed today that we are closed on the 1st so I went ahead and took the 2nd off as well so I can prep/pack that day and load up on the 3rd and GO!

If any yall from down South wanna meet up, my house is spittin distance from the turpike, let me know. If yall take the turpike up.
