Personally I've led a pretty weird life with more than my share of weird events, maybe you haven't , lucky you, just because you haven't encountered things that defy a "normal" scope of thinking & rational doesn't mean they didn't happen or that it doesn't exist...

So, is the world round ? or is it flat ?? Years ago the answer you gave decided if you lived or were executed.... which are you ?

I don't expect anyone to watch all of this, or to even give it the time of day, but there again if you do, its not so much of what these ret. military personell & ret gov. employees say, but what do any of them have to gain by making it up ?? Nothing, if anything their credibility will suffer due to public ignorance & ridicule , i dont think they care if you believe them or not, seems more like a cleansing of the concience of baearing the burden of what they knew & what they were sworn to keep secret....

I just remembered watching a show about Roswell and a picture of some guy holding up a weather balloon (the usual explanation for UFO's) and in his other hand is a letter for the Pentagon. Thanks to technology they are able to read parts of the letter including "disk" and "victims of wreck".

There was also an interview with the son of the farmer who first saw the Roswell wreckage. His son claims that the father brought home a piece of the wreckage which was a memory metal that could be manipulated but would always straighten to it's original shape.

I don't know about the memory metal story, but the decoded letter was quite interesting to me.

 

In all honesty I do believe in life out there somewhere but I doubt it has visited us. If it had what would be gained by hiding it?

These conspiracy theories are interesting but the amount of people who would need to be silenced is just astronomical considering one person with concrete evidence would make millions if not billions releasing a book confirming alien life and a massive multinational conspiracy to hide it from normal people. When you consider how fucked Russia is now it would be a miracle if any secrets escaped the fall of the Soviet Union and the release of KGB records. How could something like Aliens remain under wraps when tanks, helicopters, planes and nukes were lost? Also Snowden leaks not revealing anything seems improbable. The amount of top secret shit he had access to and released is unbelievable.


About the letter talking about bodies I read a book on Area 51 that was about the base from it's creation for nuclear testing and eventually to secret air craft including interviews with test pilots and guards and it was very well cited. Near the end though it went on a crazy tangent about Stalin genetically engineering a race of small alien looking humans to be sent to America to cause a panic in the general population. In response to this the American government cloned the little men and sent them back to Russia to cause panic there. It was really weird the book seemed so well grounded with tons of citations from academic sources and then in the last 2 chapters it threw that at you out of the blue it was strange.

 

Whats to be gained by keeping alien existence & the obvious superior technology is total & absolute control over the population & i mean world wide, remember, after WWII we basically gave natzi germany's higher end scientist a choice of working for/with the U.S. gov. or face war crimes charges in the world court at Nuremburg which would end in execution (see project paperclip or operation paperclip, its one of those) & our technology exploded

If we had alien tech why would they be worried about us finding out why not just use the massive tech advantage to kill any dissenters. If you think of the tech gap between us and an alien race that has mastered FTL space travel it would be a slaughter. Imagine going back to the middle ages with an aircraft carrier. People like to imagine a war with aliens but it wouldn't be. It would be like us exterminating ants.

To add to that the idea of an alien ship mastering space travel and some sort of FTL propulsion and then somehow crashing after it travels trillions of trillions of miles with precision of 0.000001+/- and arriving at earth to then crash seems pretty far fetched.

I doubt they wanted to use those German scientists for multiple reasons first and foremost they were like you said war criminals. If the average GI came home after being crippled or losing family and found out about harboring those sick fucks and giving them cushy government jobs there would be hell to pay. I forgot the specifics but one of those German scientists ended up leading the Apollo missions.

 

I used to agree with your statement about how is it they got all this way without incident only to eat shit on earths surface but these anomalies I've seen in the night fly in such a way to defy our known physics of flight , total free flight as it were , one problem though, to us it seems they came trillions of miles away, a lifetime of travel, for them not much more than the blink of an eye I'd think, In our atmosphere they wobble badly at hovering or at least it appears that way, thats from my own observations, I've seen ufos (not saying extraterestrials) just unidentified, you probably have too, I invite anyone to come to San Diego preferrably on moonless clear night , drive out of the city a few miles, find a nice hill to sit on looking east, kick back & look up, usually within 30 mins & after eyes well adjusted i promise you'll start doing dbl takes & the shit up there darting around,stopping, hauling ass only to do a 90 degree turn without slowing or banking, really astounding stuff no matter what it is..

One thing I'd say they could gain "if" they are hiding something if they've captured one or a craft, is maybe a lot we don't know about and knowledge far beyond what we have known. And knowledge is power. Maybe they still haven't figured it out fully. I don't know it "could" be a lot of things or reasons that maybe you wouldn't initially think about or even know to think about.
And there has been people come forward, but most times it's the same old thing, people shoot it down as them being crazy or whatever. And if you think about it the number one way of the mass's finding out their information on what's going on is thru watching television and that easily controlled. The internet is another, but people are more likely to believe a news broadcast etc verse what random Joe put on the internet.
Also the video that 4WD put up, they're coming forward and had more of an inside look than most people.
The last part of the book you mentioned. Yeah that's the type thing that makes all the info before it in the book seem like BS.
But you could wonder if stuff like that is put out to muddy the waters and further make it all seem like BS. That is a good way to wash out a lot of people from even giving a subject credibility.


And speaking of area 51 while on one of my deployments I was talking with an older Spec Ops guy, who told me, he had been to Area 51 years ago, he said he had seen a couple of Aliens and spacecraft's there. He never changed his story and stood by it. I obviously can't confirm what he told me was true. I'm not much on railing people with questions, especially when it's none of my business, so I wasn't asking him why he was there etc. But that's what he said.

Maybe if there is Aliens that are visiting us, they're peaceful and don't want to destroy us. Maybe like in some of the videos where people who claim to have had experiences , when they say they've shut down nuclear warheads etc. And de armed some of our weapons in flight.
But I believe if they wanted to it probably would be like us going back in time and destroying the less advanced.

And the whole thing of them crashing, maybe it is something to do with how their crafts handles here in this atmosphere, maybe things are effected completely different here vs where ever they maybe coming from. Initially you would think, there shouldn't be any problems if they have the technology to travel space, but I would think if it's true they exist, they don't know everything and are flawed too. There's a lot of things to me we should have figured out by now, but haven't, at least to my knowledge.
And if it's true were being visited then that would mean their out exploring and learning too. They could come here to test craft etc.

Who knows.
