LOL. I was going to say that "OCD is a skill". But after reading the description, I take it back.

 

I got tires rebalanced ... Got rid of steering wheel shake on my Procomp 7089 and duratrac 265/75/16

Took shop a while to get the balance right... They did a static balance when first put on and it didn't work out lol.

They spun the tire on the wheel and booya grandma only 2 ounces of weight each wheel.

Slowly torqued the lugs and shakes are gone. I feel hub rings are not needed for these wheels

 

Figured out why i was losing 20mpg per tank. Don't let the quick lube techs adjust your air pressure. 35psi is no good for 285's

 

What do you run them at?

You lost 20mpg, what were you getting before? I only get about 18.5 MPG as it is...

 

42 normally. I put them to 45 this time. Other than the mileage it felt heavy on the highway too. Hell of allot better now

I see. I run my 255/85R16's at 50 psi on street during the summer and fall. Once the roads get slick I drop them to 20 psi (which is also what I run on the trail). They handle the slick roads really well at 20 psi. It drives like a tank at 20 psi though... The steering feels really heavy and you can feel some extra sway in the tires themselves, but the traction is worth it.

 

Finished 3 inch lift. Installed 285/75-16's on my beadlocks, got an alignment, in spec with factory control arms too. No vibes, good to go. Will take a daytime pic tomorrow.

 

My average is almost 18 if not 18. I dropped down to 16
At half tank I was at 130 should be at 150
At fill up I was at 160. Should be well around 180 or better

 

I agree. I run 22 off road. Felt it most Highway driving
