I would say sliders? I would say skids but I'm not sure if you didn't want your stock suspension to be taking on that task.

    Not a Stocko Taco.
Lift and tires is great but......then he can go wheeling and get trail damage. Not good. Armor it up...if stock suspension is a worry of holding the weight then I say dont put skids n such on until you have the suspension on hand.

Good thoughts Ryan. I'll probably be going in a route similar to this-
    [IMG]

Pretty random. I'm in no huge rush to get this truck on the trails. I've accepted it'll be a while before I can afford all the junk I want. And I'm planning things out this time. Taking more time, putting more thought into each part.

I have most of the parts to return daisy to stock. Just need front cv axles. However I want to do Moab 2014. Unless I win the lottery, Aspen won't be ready. Might be moab 2015 for this truck. Well I'm stoked either way. Still compiling parts lists. Things change the more I think about it.

Let it thaw a little tonight.

    Alright people...

As far as wheels go... I'm looking at 17x9.5" wheels.

I don't want them to stick out too much. Not further than daisys tires stick out (about 3.5"?).

For estimation purposes, assume the wheels will be mounted 2" out from the factory width on either side.

Options for back spacing are 4" or 4.75". Any input, or anyone know someone running these sizes so I can take a look?

There's no prerunning to be had around these parts! Then again there's no rock crawling either. So no matter what I build it for, I'll be going south to utilize it. But nah I ain't going full prerunner. That would be really cool though. Caged and all that gnarness....

I've already got wheels picked out too, I'm mainly just looking for pics with factory fenders of any wheels close to that size^^

I probably should be able to pick this up from your build threads but do you weld yourself?
