    Yeah don't rent (or buy) spring compressors. When I put my OME suspension on, I rented a compressor from autozone and the bolts were bending under the extreme force from the 883s. Tough as hell to tighten down. They didn't even fit over the springs properly, I'm kinda surprised the damn thing didn't break and take a limb with it.:eek:

    could get em rebuilt by DSM for that price too..plus made extended travel while your at it and get UCAs for xmas :D haha You can even get resis added if you want and beefier coils to take off preload. Longer stronger coils will make a smoother ride as they won't take as much preload.

    the 7100s working good then huh? glad to hear.

    Rental kind. Wouldn't be surprised if the pin lock didn't fit the coils.

    Exactly what I used. And yeah, the pins didn't fit the coils. These I think are meant for smaller passenger cars.

    Yup. They barely fit stock 1st gen coils. They won't fit eibachs if you expect to compres them to fit on 5100s

    Icons are digressive valved. Makes for a stiff DD ride but works great on go fast.

    If you Kings are extended and all already, id just have DSM rebuild them..it'll be like 200 bucks total maybe a tad more with shipping..that is a lot cheaper then new icons/kings/foxes. and they will be good for another 30-40k. You can always add resi's later if you need too.

    ahhhh gotcha. And resi's to upgrade. If they are low miles, seems like a good plan. But i doubt your ride will be much smoother as they are probably still just 600lb coils and you'll still have to preload em a lot ot get the lift you want.

    nope..no idea. Frankenstein had Rough country coils on him when i got him..although they weren't giving a lot of lift over stock..

    and my double cab..is a low rider with the coil buckets sitting almost lower then the UCAs..so..yea..no idea..haha sorry :eek: haha

    Expos tend to give 4+'' lift..250lbs should be effecting them too much..least..thats the point of expos..

    but yea..if you lower the front a bit and give yourself a bit of a rake stance..bet it'll mellow out the front a bit..
