Ill run it by my buddies and see as time get closer. My truck will probably be torn apart by then so I will probably just hop in with one of them.

I'm super Happy with my Besttop.

I keep it on more often than off, due to always running Boy Scouts and their gear to campouts, but in a few minutes I can take it off and load either my quad, or a heaping mound of fire wood.

I installed mine almost as soon as I got the truck, haven't done much in the way of mantinance to it (bad I know) but it's holding up great. A little faded but no rips, or snags.

I'd buy another in a heartbeat

Any of you Muskegon guys know anything about the Cedar Creek ORV trail? Is it open still? The site says 'best season' before Nov 1 but nothing about it being actually closed.

I know this is an old thread but I'm a yooper. Live around the Marquette area. Love all the trails we've got up here. Even though my truck is rusty and old, she still makes it around :)

Nah, it's still a little active. We haven't talked about doing a meet in forever. Congrats on the new to you truck man. I can't believe for only 800 bucks! That's great.

Well guys. Just completed a round trip of a thousand miles with a little over 800lbs of tools/supplies in the bed. All I can say is...poor rear suspension! A lot of the bridges along the highways I'd bounce off the rubber bump stops.

One direction I still managed 18mpg...on the way home is a different story!

Most likely LT but I have a driveline problem again. If I blew another front diff then I am probably going to ditch the IFS.

Would that make it more of a crawler/flexing style setup rather than a dune truck then?

I'm going to be doing something that involves more rear leafs. Not much because I might contemplate adding airbags to prevent a damaging trip some day down the road.

Ya always planned on 2 truck just figured this one would be the dune truck not the crawler, but then I would just pick up a dune truck already built from out west.

Ever thought of just running Timbrens when you are hauling a load?

Well guys, I just sold my 2011 Tacoma AC 4x4 and moved up to a 2013 Tacoma double cab 4.0 4x4 :dancingbacon:

I usually make it to Silver Lake anywhere from 5-10 times a year. I live in Traverse City so its only a little over a 2 hour drive.

Anyone ever get together there for meets? :notsure:

I am at Silver Lake a bunch of times in the summer. Always like meeting up with people up there. Hopefully this year we will get a few more of the Tacoma guys out there, mostly Fords now.

A few of my dune buddies do a meet at the begining of the dune season to get things rolling. below is a like to the info.

I'll come out there once I get a quad or side by side to play with.

Congrats on the new rig nielsen23! I think I spotted your old truck up there little over a year ago. Wife and I visited the area when I had my 2011 speedway blue ac 4x4.

I've only seen a handful of Tacomas there. Mostly I see a bunch of rangers when its the prerunner weekend there.
It would be awesome to meet up with some fellow TW members.
No, MI4x4Toy my AC was white. I drove it there a couple of times last year but it was towing a couple quads and dirtbikes. It was stormtroopered out.
Now I get a brand new build with my magnetic grey taco!

What I meant was I took my 2011 blue AC up to traverse and saw your white rig there. I almost got mag grey but liked the sleek black truck idea better.
