So shook I don't even know what to think. A semi truck towing another one the same size smoked the passenger side of my truck. I was coming into an intersection with 3 lanes and was in the far left, he was in the middle lane. Right as I was in line with the one he was towing he started to ride into my lane, I laid on my horn and slammed on my brakes but the roads were slick and my truck just slid. I turned up the median to try and avoid but he still creamed the side of my truck at the back and skipped down the whole side. My driver side tire is done and anything associated with it, same with both back tires, all of them are slanted right in. If I didn't turn up the median as I slid I could be dead right now, i came out with a sore neck and back but that's it. I just thank god that I dropped off my pregnant girlfriend and her daughter 5 minutes before it happened, they were both on that side.

Why would I post this for fun? Do people on this forum actually do shit like that.. unreal
I can upload one pic I took but it won't paste the link from my phone. If you wanna see the back passenger side I took 1 picture and it will be in my gallery

E: I tried getting a pic of the whole side but it's a busy street so I didn't get a chance. Put it this way, it's not written off and can be fixed. Hope it doesn't take too long

The front of the same side got fucked as well. The way I hit the median on the driver side, all the wheels are fucked.. it all happened so fast and they made me go in the ambulance to get looked at. Not like i hopped out and was like PICTURE TIME!

He was joking. Its funny because every time someone posts a story about an accident, those are the 3 most common responses. "It'll buff out" is just people being sarcastic because clearly it wont. "pics or it didnt happen" is just a phrase to state that we want to see pics, and not because we dont believe your story, its just a common phrase. "Glad your ok" will be posted 10938205703507013 times, but its probably the only genuine comment from the 3 listed.

    Anyways... Glad your OK!

Would like to see more pics for real though lol

Not to mention the witness directly behind me was driving the same truck as mine. He was like man, I was just telling my girlfriend how much I liked your truck and that happened 30 seconds later. Had 2 good witnesses, accident was all the other guys fault for a fail to yield. It's going into the shop tomorrow and they're giving me a similar truck until mine is fixed. Bet it's gonna be a frontier :( if they try to give me a ford ranger I'm gonna pout

He kept driving.. I didn't see how bad my truck was and he wasn't stopping. One of the people who saw it sped in front of him and stopped him that way. He didnt even get out of his truck to see if i was ok

Did you shit yourself in the process? I certainly would have. I'm wondering if the trucker even felt anything when his vehicle collided with yours.

    Glad you're mostly okay.

As far as the truck, it sucks but it can be replaced.

Best of luck dealing with the insurance companies (no one ever "wins" in a vehicle wreck).

Thankfully in canada things work a little better.. everyone here HAS to drive with insurance, it's against the law not to. The guy who hit me is leaving for cuba in a few days for vacation, if he doesn't phone in his part of the claim before he leaves I'm gonna be fucked for a temp vehicle and have to pay my deductible before they will even touch my truck.
