Got the pressbrake all together and working...got a chance to give it a shot making a winch mount for the front of a trailer:

Step 1. Cut some shit out of 1/4" plate and drill some holes in it:

    20131216_202308_zps3a4fe8d4_e35511c078503f0d0bc6ad46359963062132a0e8.jpg

Step 2. Put it in the press:

    Step 3. Bend some shit:

Step 4. See if it all worked:

Not what ur thinking, lol. I like the pressbrake so far, but its not overly versatile.

i bring an actual welder with me when i wheel. i was asking more because if any of yall had one, or did the battery trick, it would have been a fairly easy bandaid fix to get mark mark on the road home. just plate up the broken leaf and be on your way (cautoiusly)

Way easier to just swap in another spring if its available. Otherwise using two batteries and some rod works fine for me.

yeah, i have a lot of spare parts with me when i wheel, but no leaf springs. that would be a nice easy fix though.

I was able to ditch tons of spares. Now all I am going to carry is a spare rear driveshaft and some smalls. It helps when you can get parts at an autoparts and not have to get them at a dealer with a day or two wait.

Another perk of the dana-spicer axles :D
